Maybe a little over priced , but has its good points !
Does what it says on the tin but;A couple of cons; The air pressure switch turns off and on below the 8 bar setting, so the pressure vessel is below 8 bar , more like 7 bar. A drop of 14psi (1 bar) makes a difference when pumping up tyres in the 70 to 80 psi range.Ok I can change the pressure settings, but should I have to ?The start capacitor casing is welded to the pressure tank. As this is the most likely item to fail, before most otherwise . So it's a hammer and chisel, or grinding job to get to, test and replace. Not the best thing for a pressure vessel.May not happen, but signals the end of the compressors life ? However the Capacitor failing on my previous compressor was the reason for buying this compressor.I have learnt;Takes quite a lot of restarts when pumping up van tyres to 70psi, (not helped by the lower on / off pressure.)Not to panic ! There was a euro connector supplied, but I did not see it until I undid the packet.I don't think that the connector is the "standard" PCL euro connector,Pro pointsQuiet ! Very compared with my previous small compressor, and quieter than some air brush compressors and has a larger tank.Portable but heavy, you might not want to take it with you as a tyre inflators unless you had to.Does everything I want it to, but more quietly.Wether it will last 25 years, like my HPC 100 compressor remains to be seen.Rgds

Quiet, but seller needs some quality control checks
I bought a 9L and 24L air compressor for different jobs. My old Clarke Shhhh air had packed in an repair was more than the cost of a new one. I would have bought a new one, but they are ridiculously priced. This compressor is not as quiet as Shhhh, but it is a lot quieter than a standard air compressor. It is 65db, which sounds a lot, but you could easily talk to someone next to this and be heard and you do not need hearing protection when it is running. It doesn't come with a regulator, but one can be fitted, however, there isn't a great deal of space from exit point and tank below (if closing a regulator with filter / condensate trap). It comes well packaged and you just need to attach the rubber feet (no instructions, but easily worked out - need 8mm spanner). The filter screws on to the motor housing. It is a simple plastic thing that houses a paper filter. Don't use the compressor without it fitted. 1. it is a bit noisier, 2. dust and particles getting sucked in could cause damage. It is around 16KG in weight, but manageable when carrying around. It isn't the best of build quality, but it seems to be good enough and I was pleased with it....for the first day. I noticed an electrical crackling and as I moved the wire around the machine kept cutting in and out, then just stopped. The fuse was fine, so I had to send it back at a cost of £28 as Amazon would only give me £4 upfront instead of supplying the return labels, so now I have to chase them up for the difference. The 24L model I also have is running fine, but I had to get the seller to supply me with the missing wheels. They really need to get some quality controls in place.I wouldn't say don't buy this as there are some happy customers. I think it is worth a punt and I will probably get the 9L replaced, but I am holding off to see how the 24L runs for now.

Leiser Kompressor

It's certainly much quieter than common hardware store models but you wouldn't want to run at night
Definitely not "silent", if you expect to be able to run it inside your house at unsociable hours you'll be disappointed. But it's certainly much quieter than standard DIY grade compressors, and installing the intake dust/moisture filter definitely helps a bit. It's nice and compact, fits neatly under a desk or bench, the tank is large enough for hobby use.Air-brushing, at 2KPa (~30psi) a full tank can run for 4 minutes of constant air-brush flow before the compressor kicks back in.If you turn it off you might get another 2-3 minutes before needing to turn it on manually, but it's much easier just to leave it on and let it kick in automatically. Those numbers are when constantly holding the airbrush open, so in actual use you should get closer to 10 to 15 minutes of actual painting time with an airbrush between charges. It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't come with a pressure regulator, but it was possible to fit one with only a little swearing and plenty of PTFE tape (the plumbing variety is perfect for fixing slow air leaks in these joints too!)

Good one. Recommended.
I have been using a 95dB traditional type compressor. Now, this machine replaces the one due to too high level of noise. It was powerful but too loud. I could not talk to someone near the compressor. Now, I can talk and hear next to it while it works. I know there are quieter ones available on the market. I also have Bambi dryer compressor at work VTS150D. Bambi is super silent but it was over 2000 pounds. Other ones (oil free air compressors) which may be 5dB quieter than this product but that would cost at least double. I am extremely happy with the purchase (I bought it for under 100 pounds) and would recommend to anyone looking for a compressor with reasonable level of noise for good price. Also, this is very handy. The air tank is not too big, but not too small. Also the air charging speed is quick enough for my work. Very slim and small. Only one down side is the number of output hole. It has only one and can make up to three if the valve and the pressure gauge is removed. To make one more hole, I removed the pressure gauge as I use external pressure gauge anyway. All in all, reasonably quite and very good product for the price.
