Best car phone mount I've ever used
This really is the best car phone mount I have ever used. I've tried the clip on ones that connect to your a/c vents, but they aren't as flexible and seem never to be in the right place -- and of course, they block the air flow that's supposed to be coming from the vent. The Syncwire Car Phone mount is very sturdy and adhered to my dashboard surprising well. It also provides a super solid connection if you want to use your windshield. The suction cup held very solidly on my dash, so I want to use it there. The unit holds the phone using a gravity grip that holds the phone when you drop it into the holder. The holder swivels on the base, plus it pivots on a lever and a ball joint -- giving you lots of motion and options. All of these move solidly and hold the phone firmly in place. The first photo shows what's included, the two pieces of the mount that snap easily together, a small instruction booklet and 2 alcohol wipes.I'm very happy with the product and will likely get another for my other car!

Decent fit, some improvements could happen
I got this for Verizon's Galaxy S3. At first feel, the cases had different levels of grip. However, silicone cases usually do get more grippy with more use or after washing them. Either way, they all grip pretty well. Since I have the pearl blue S3, the best looking one seemed to be the white case.Contrary to what the 3 star rated review said, these cases ARE NOT TOO TIGHT. Let me repeat this.. NOT.. TOO.. TIGHT. If anything, they could be a little bit tighter. When pulling the phone out of my pocket or my girlfriend's bag, the cases come off slightly, like on one corner. The usb charging port opening needs trimming. If you're using the charger cable that came with the phone, you'll need to trim the opening for the cable to go in all the way. You may also want to trim the microphone holes. The S3 has one on the top of the phone and on the bottom, near the charging port. Depending on your headphones, you may have to trim that opening as well. It's easy to do, as well as it being personal preference, so it's not a big deal at all.You get a cleaning cloth that works pretty well. You also get a screen protector that goes on pretty easily, including getting the bubbles out. There's a screen protector that comes with a combo pack at Verizon.. That one causes a pixelated look on the screen.. THIS ONE.. doesn't!!All in all, for 15 bucks, you get a lot. Quality may vary slightly, but it's definitely worth a shot, especially if you don't like being held to one color.

because of the charger slot...otherwise, awesome!!!
PS- I apologize for all the reading. Believe me, its worth it :) For $16, this is an GREAT buy!!!!! Well, as it says, you get 10 cases, all of which are very more vibrant in person, a cleaning cloth, and a screen protector which all work very well. BUT- the only thing though about the cases (that i previously read also) is that yes, you have to take off the case slightly to charge the phone... because the charger plug does stay in but then sooner or later, it slips out/ off. Other than that though, all of the other slots/ buttons are very crisp and alert. Like, for example(s), on top you have your headphone jack port slot which is very roomy/ big because you don't have to worry about any problems of plugging in/ out the headphones. On the back, the camera, speaker, and flash ports/ spots are very clear and the case isn't in the way of the view. Also, the volume and the power buttons on the sides are very crisp and clear- you can hear the volume button whenever you press them with the case on them. For personal use, I picked the dark blue case and this is what i experienced, none of which of with the other cases and so i hope to get a chance to try on all the cases on to see if i get all of the same experiences even though they are from the same brand :)

Good but for one little thing.
These fit perfectly, look and feel nice, and are of sturdy construction, but the hole where the charger plugs in isn't quite big enough for the OEM S3 charger. You have to pop the bottom half of the cover off to get the charger to go all the way in.There is also a bit of flashing around the edge that can confuse you when you are feeling for button locations. I trimmed it off with an exacto.I also have the flip cover, and these actually fit onto the device with the flip cover. The caveat is that you can't really feel the volume rocker when you have the flip cover open, but since they weren't made for this, I can't exactly dock points. I am considering attempting to modify one of the pink ones (not a big fan of pink) to see if I can solve this, and if it works, I may modify the rest too. Perhaps someone can come up with a silicone cover designed to work with the flip cover. The colors are striking against the white galaxy S3.If they would fix the charger issue, this would be a great buy, and would get a five star rating.

Best Car Phone Mount I've Ever Owned
I have purchased many car phone mounts over the years and they all disappointed me. They either lose their suction on the windshield or require a special mount to attach to the dashboard. This one is very very sticky, but doesn't damage the dashboard. It's supposed to be washable to renew it's stickiness, but I haven't tried that yet. The mechanism to hold the phone is ultra convenient. You just put the phone onto the bottom bracket and let go. Gravity causes the bottom bracket to lower, which then causes the left and right brackets to move inward, securely grasping the phone. To remove the phone, simply push up slightly and it's released into your hand. Probably not good for 4X4 off-road vehicles that bounce alot. There's a gap in the bottom bracket that allows the charging cable to fit through.

Unsticky Vicky.
Bought this on the strength of other reviews, delivery was prompt.Used the wet wipe to clean the ideal spot on the dashboard, set the holder up and adjusted all my angles for the optimum viewing position, removed the adhesive and stuck the holder down. This was yesterday, I didn't place the phone in the holder, thinking the twenty four delay in actually using the phone holder would only enhance the adhesion properties of the holder. How wrong can one man be.Fast forward twenty four hours and I set off on my six hour drive for work, the holder performed exemplary on the drive down my street and was still going strong when I reached the main A road a journey of some 0.1 miles.Boldened by the amazing performance I made my way toward the motorway slip road safe in the knowledge my phone was being cradled like a new born in a crib. Two sets of lights, a pedestrian crossing and an elderly gent Sunday driving out of Tescos with scant regard for other road users and we're all still tucked in.We make the roundabout to join the M61, the first step in our journey north, and disaster, holder toppled from its mounts like Saddams statue when the Yanks made Baghdad in Shock and Awe, phone roles under the seat, necessitating an immediate cessation of all progress, a mere two miles into a journey of three hundred and seventy five.I'm returning it, its bobbins.

The Best Car Phone Holder!! Fits MOST Phone Case!!!
I absolutely love this product. I have been having problems finding a car phone holder for my IPhone XR with my LifeProof Fre case as the case makes the iPhone bigger. It fits perfectly in.However I found a slight problem which is the charging port gap needs to be slightly wider (for the LifeProof case charging flap to open properly, however I found that if you extend the bottom fully out and have the LifeProof case charging flap open and a little bit off the bottom, it grips the phone perfectly. Also I didn’t know it extended out too which was a game changer for me!!

Great holder to keep you phone steady in portrait orientation..
I've used many phone holders over the years and this seems to be one of the sturdiest and stable I've used yet..One thing to consider, is that it only really holds a phone vertically so if you want a holder for landscape viewing of your phone then this probably isn't the model you're looking for..Other than that I can highly recommend.

Suction cup does not grip despite numerous attempts.
This was purchased after having read numerous reviews about phone holders and being one of the few that matched the criteria that I had in mind, most of the gravity linkage, metal holders appear to be for fitting into air vents which I did not want.On opening the box I was pleased to see that the holder appeared to be fairly solidly constructed with all the features described in the listing. The telescopic arm is easily operated and quite robust, the gravity linkage works perfectly and all the joints are easy to adjust and lock/unlock. In fact the only thing that does not work is the suction cup.No matter how many times I cleaned the dashboard and carefully applied the holder to it, it fell off within minutes of being fixed. I know that this cannot be down to me applying it in the wrong way as I have used these sort of fixings previously. My only guess is that either I have a faulty item or that the product does not live up to the claim that it will stick on textured surfaces (no matter how slight the texture) and for this reason alone I cannot recommend it.

Dire!!!
Although the device sticks quite well to the dashboard of my car, unfortunately on each of her four occasions I have used it since it’s arrival my phone has flown out of the device to the passenger footwell. Fortunately these were not occasions when I didn’t know a route otherwise it would have been a major problem. The fourth trial was thus week and it’s more likely to be found in the rubbish bin than my car. Worse than useless!!
