Best curling iron , by far. You can curl with it. You can use it as a straightening comb. It gets rid of all the frizz and makes my hair shine. It NEVER gets stuck in the hair.It's absolutely fantastic... every curling iron should be made like this. (Retractàble teeth, wow.) You can curl a big section or a small section !Several temperature choices, atu-shut-off. I showed my hair stylist. She LOVES it.

First of all you’ll need a heat glove, the surface is hot and you can’t touch it with your bare hands although my sister does so maybe it’s just me. Gloves are cheap and easy to find so small price to pay for such a great curling iron! I’ve tried many different types of this sized curling brush but this is the only one that keeps my curls all day. I see no damage that it causes, as some do, but I always use a heat protectant anyway. Smooths my hair as it curls. I have medium-thick hair that has natural curl but just enough to screw things up so I use this to straighten as well as curl. I cannot manage a flat iron I’m just not coordinated enough but this does the job where I need things straightened. Very versatile for my length which is a couple inches above my shoulders. The teeth grip nicely which is what is lacking in so many other curling brushes and it doesn’t seem to get dirty. It also doesn’t rip my hair out and only leave a couple strands behind when I’m through. I use it in the middle setting for the heat. It heats up immediately—I turn it on then put on my blouse and it’s ready to go. Love it more than all my other paraphernalia and am going to buy another one just for a backup.

This is the best curling brush I have ever had. It heats up almost instantly & cools down really fast. The curls hold good.

Wow. This thing is fantastic. I have very long hair. And when I use curling brushes, the hair can easily get tangled. Well. NOT with this one. I can’t believe that Revlon and Babyliss and CHI haven’t grabbed onto this cool technology and made their own versions. Maybe once they hear about the Sylkvia they will. I’d like a model that is large and a smaller barrel as well. I know the smaller barrel would be a bit more difficult, because the bristles have to be able to retract. Anywhoooo… I’ve owned and used every hair device from Dyson to Chi to Babyliss to Revlon, and can honestly say this is the one I use most. For reference, I’m a curly somewhat frizzy difficult to tame redhead and this curling brush handles itself well. Holds the curls and doesn’t get tangled, because I can retract the bristles.

Best curling brush ever! Tips are long enough to easily catch my mid length thick hair when rolling the wand, but not too long where your hair gets snagged in the bristles. Heats up very quickly and had a nice long cord to allow maneuverability while styling. Gives soft, loose curls and a definite increase in body to my hair without damaging it. Lightweight, and the retractable bristles make it easy to remove your hair from the appliance. I’ve tried other similar styles of curling irons but I like this exact one the best! I became worried I wouldn’t be able to get another one in case my current one stopped working, so I bought a second one as a back up! Love it!

Product is cheaply made. Will be returning as it is not worth the time it took to receive the package nor the money spent. Disappointed

This curling brush releases the hair well but is hard for me to handle. It works as well as my $20 curling iron.

I have purchased at least four different hairstylers over the last couple of years, and I wish I had returned some of them, but I didn’t, but this one is amazing! All the others would get tangled in my hair, and you couldn’t do a beach wave because your hair was stuck in the bristles, but this retractable brush makes curling your hair, so easy, and it is so easy to use! I really hope they come out with a 1 inch barrel at some point, but I absolutely love this styler so much! I wish I had bought it sooner, but I cannot recommend it highly enough, it is the best Hairstyler I have used in a long time ,maybe ever!
