Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus - PC

The game basically follow the story from beginning, it makes my 6 yr old daughter very happy. I think its ok they remove the part of 3 wives. But I was a little shock when I see the bad guy turn into ac. cat?The 2D pictures are pretty, like watercolor painting.The mouse control is not very smooth, and many of the mini game use old fashion keyboard ª«©¨ & space to control. It makes some of the mini games hard for kids. They don't have the skill to pass the game by themselves. But you can say itfs good for training their little hand function. My daughter catches up the game after I show her how to pass them the first time.The 3D graphic is a little bit ugly. The girl doesn't look like a princess and the 3D view make my daughter dizzy. But after she gets used to it, she likes the game.Itfs a windows XP game and I bought the used one on Amazon for $1+$3.99 shipping. Shouldnft ask too much. I'll give it 4 stars.

I hope I can stop you from making the same mistake!!!!!!!! PLEASE Read on........Let me start by saying that I've been surprised to find myself a big fan of the recent Barbie movies and software. My daughter and I have enjoyed playing Rapunzel, Swan Lake, Princess and the pauper all multiple times. I didn't even hesitate to spend the $29 on this game. How could they have done so well on the others and made this one such a disaster?The production quality is vastly different than the others. From the very beginning you notice a drastic difference. It's as if this was their very first attempt at making a software game. Maybe they haven't gone back as far as PONG or PacMan... but it's pathetically close!You continually have to steer Barbie using the arrow keys and it's not at all a smooth ride. Sometimes it's as if you are behind her steering her and others you are suddenly over her head looking down at her. It's so awkward, will make you dizzy,irritated, and then eventually feel motion sick! Seriously, I have such a headache!!! I kept hoping it would get better, but I evetually quit the game and have no intentions of ever finishing or playing it again. I feel badly now that I got my daughter so excited about it.I was really looking forward to enjoying this new game and now regret having spent money on it. At the time I ordred it there were no reviews. Hopefully I can save you from making the same mistake.

I bought this game for my daughter, she loves Barbie, it's a fun game for her, but the 3-D graphics are not great, and the graphics overall need updating, especially for a modern pc game.I don't like the fact that you can't use a mouse to control your character, you have to use the arrow keys, which I have not seen used for game playing on a pc since the old Vic and Commodore computers. If you can get the game cheap and love Barbie then it would be ok, but if you want modern graphics and mouse ability, and not just wild about Barbie, then this isn't it.

Game was pretty much like others mentioned. Graphics were decent (my expectations were not that high, since this game is rather old -- though it was installed on an old computer as well).. The game does only take about 1-2 hours to finish, then it's not that much fine, and some of the audio repeats over and over again, which does get a little annoying (like Barbie saying "We have to save my parents. We must hurry" (or something to that affect)...

This was one of my favorite games as a little girl. I remeber loving the mini games, the Pegasus, the ice skating area. etc. So I'm going to rate this game from the point of view of my 8 or 9 year old self and say: "This game is awesome and I can't wait to show it to my friends! And the Pegasus is sooo cute! I think I want to learn how to ice skate now!"

This computer game is lots of fun for my granddaughter. It took her a while to get into it, because in the beginning she got a bit frustrated with the program, going round in circles, but eventually she got through the intitial stages and then she loved it. She is 10 years old and pretty handy with her computer games.I can recommend this game based on her experiences with it.

My daughter always love this game as a young child, she was happy to be able to have it back and play it again.
