Skechers Performance Women's Go Walk 4 Lace-Up Walking Shoe

I can not say enough great things about this shoe! I ordered these for my honeymoon to Italy, not realizing that my idea of vacation and my new husband's views were different. I had thought it would be a nice leisurely vacation whereas my husband wanted to see all of Italy in nine days. I am so thankful that I got these amazing shoes bc we saw all of Italy in nine days!!! VesuviusWe individually totaled: 129,143 steps, 50.6 miles, and 178 floors. We accomplished all of this by walking everywhere, minus train rides between cities. I wore these shoes throughout all of this trip and my feet never once hurt! I can not tell you how wonderful it was that I could see all of this without any pain! I highly highly recommend these shoes!!! I still use them and they are still as comfortable as the day I got them. I will buy these shoes again when they eventually break down.

I've had these shoes for almost a year. They are far-and-away the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, but I've worn through the tread, so I came back here to buy another pair, and purchased a different color, only to discover the laces were different. The ones I bought a year ago were "Black/White Knit" and they had elastic laces, and you just slip the shoes on. The ones I bought last week were "Black/White" and they had tie-laces. Based on the reviews on this page, it's clear that different people who bought these shoes in various colors have different reports as to whether they slip-on or tie. After some investigating, I have a hypothesis: If you look at the pictures of the different colors, some of them have round eye-holes for the laces, and a few have oval ones that the laces thread through. I think the oval ones are the ones with elastic slip-on laces. (Turquoise, Black/White Knit, Multi). And I think the round eye-holes are the kinds of laces that you have to tie (most of the other colors).

These shoes are pretty good I ordered a wide and they fit my wide feet perfectly. There was plenty of room for me to add an insert and still be comfortable. I work as a CNA and do 12 hour shifts so I'm on my feet a lot on hard unforgiving concrete. The shoes are soft, not as soft as memory foam but still comfy enough. The arch support was just not quite enough for my feet so I bought a Doctor Scholls tri comfort insert and put it in my shoes. After that my feet felt a lot better. Of course they still hurt by the end of my shift but that's to be expected. I don't care how good a pair of shoes are after 12 hours running around on your feet they are going to hurt no matter what. Overall they are good shoes and I would recommend them to somebody else.

I am a big woman. I find these shoes very supportive and comfortable. I actually came to this site to reorder this shoe. The ONLY reason to give 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wanted the no tie laces as shown in the picture. The picture implies these are no tie shoes. The pair I received MUST be tied, thus a more sporty look.As said before, I am a big (and heavy) woman. I use these shoes every day. I walk; I do not use these in an exercise class. I replace the shoe every year. They do have the GOGA insert. I highly recommend them. They are nice looking and I do not trip because the sole is too high.

I really like these, being my second pair of Skechers Go but a different line. What I love is how comfy they are all around, like a cloud surrounding your foot. All the padding on the heel can be cumbersome when you're trying to do some serious walking. I found that my heels slipped out. I tied the shoelaces pretty tight to make them feel more secure and that helped. Now I untie/retie shoelaces every time I wear them, even though I'm the kind of person that likes to tie them once and slip them on and off forever after that. The look of these is really nice--sporty and feminine. Just what I was looking for. I also like that you can wear crop socks with them because after an hour of walking in the sun my feet are sweaty and it doesn't feel good without socks to help absorb some of that.

Decent looking and a good price. I wanted laces so they'd be more supportive and more flexible in the fit. I LOVE the GOGA MAX insole -- very cushy and not as hot as the memory foam.I ordered a 9B and, IMHO, they fit like an 8-1/2. My toe is near the tip of the shoe; not bad, but there should be a little more gap. I need a little wider shoe, that's why I order up. I have many pairs of Skechers, and the fit of each one is a little different. Annoying! I returned for a larger size.

I used to be a 5-1/2 but after having children, my feet changed and I'm now a size 6. I ordered these in a 6, but they are a bit tight. My toes touch the end of the toe cap, which I have not experienced before and the sides of my feet feel too snug in the toe box area. I bought ryka size 6 walking shoes as well and they feel much better and a have a true size 6 fit. Even though these Sketchers are more snug than I care for, I do like them. The cushioning is amazing and they are super light-weight, so my feet feel fine after being on them most of the day.

... the most comfortable walking trainers I have ever put on my feet. I have arthritis problems in my hips and after recent treatment I've been trying to get myself more active again so looked for some more comfortable footwear to make walking easier. So glad I tried these - no need to break them in as they were comfortable straight away. My right foot felt a bit like the back was digging in to the back of my ankle a little bit but once I started walking in them it disappeared and they felt like a pair of old favourites that had been well worn in. Incredibly lightweight, brilliantly cushioned and even when the toes got wet when the dog dragged me over some grass my feet stayed dry. They don't have any arch support inside which I thought may be a problem but I again any concerns disappeared as soon as I started walking in them. Highly recommend. I did take the advice to go down a shoe size though and very glad I did.

Having just reluctantly binned my last pair of skechers due to them wearing out from overuse, I could not wait to order this new pair. Skechers are generously sized. I am usually a size 6 (English size) and ordered these in a 5.5. They fit extraordinarily well.They cushion my feet perfectly (I have bunions and blisters) and are so comfortable and light to wear that I cannot imagine wearing anything more pleasing on my feet.This particular pair of skechers are incredibly stylish. I thought I was ordering 'trainers' along the more traditional lines. These, however, are soft and pliable and whilst they do have laces, the laces are elasticated. No more tying up or wearing out of laces. Just perfect!

I was looking for walking shoes for a holiday in Morocco and a kind shop assistant recommended Skechers to me instead...oh god the COMFORT! I’ve never before owned any shoes that prevented my feet aching after an entire day walking around, so I assumed that was just how my feet were, but these are amazingly comfy for hour after hour. No breaking-in period either. I suspect I’m only going to buy Skechers from now on, particularly any with the Goga Max insole. They’re a little large, maybe half a size, but they don’t slip off or anything. Quite warm on the feet - I should add that they can end up stinky, which was a new thing for me, but I chucked them in the washing machine and now I have insoles in them they’re perfect again. Love them.

I purchased these in a 4 and a 3.5 as other reviewers had said they could come up large. The 4’s were a little big but the 3.5’s were too small so they both have been returned. They would have been returned anyway as they are not lace up but elastic laces which are fixed, sewn in at the top. For me they needed tightening at the top which I was unable to do. This was not clear in the description which just said lace up. It’s a shame as I really liked these and would have kept the size 4

My husband always swears by his sketchers shoes for smart casual wear and holidays. Thought I'd treat myself. Oh boy these are amongst the most comfortable shoe that I have ever worn. I have even joined in with the travel to work wearing them and swap to court shoes when I get there. FABULOUS.I have wide feet and difficult to find a trainer that is comfortable. These are soft material that has the ability to stretch. I will certainly be looking at others to add to my shoe collection. Look great with joggers and jeans.
