Nice and smooth riding now!
1- Don’t worry about flipping over the handle bars, the suspension comes with a bracket that mounts the fender to the lower spring bolt. So the fender now moves with the suspension. I’ve mashed the brakes many times and not a single problem.2- The kit comes with a QR code link to their YouTube video install. The video is informative, however it is for the old design fender mount. There is a better install video on YouTube by Electric Kicks. Follow his step by step and you’re set.3- The kit also comes with a silver metal bushing to use on the top of the forks. DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDED BUSHING, you will have steering wobble. Reuse the factory black metal bushing, and the factory black metal spacer. I did have a little steering wobble with the silver metal bushing. I then disassembled the suspension, and reinstalled the factory bushing with spacer and the wobble is gone. There is a order to tighten everything up, explained in Electric Kicks video. In closing, I highly recommend this suspension! I’m a little surprised the Ninebot Max didn’t have suspension when designed. Oh well, life goes on! Happy scootin’

Not an easy install but rides great so far.
Bought this after doing a little research. I went in expecting it not to be an easy install and let me tell you the reviews are right. There are tools that come with the package but some of them dont fit properly and some arent even correct for the specific screw so make sure you have extra tools on hand. The biggest annoyance for me was removing the break cable because of the nut at the end of the wire. I read of some people cutting it off but I used sheer force with the help of a specialized clamping tool. After installing the product I realized the mudgaurd holder is so poorly designed that it is attached to two freely moving washers which lets the fender move up and down to touch the tires. The front fender had little brackets to fit perfectly to prevent movement on the original fork but the fender holder also does not take that into account so if you try to mount it with the backets still on you will have BARELY any clearance between the tire and fender. I had to dremel that portion to make a bit of clearance to be comfortable to ride. When you mount the mudgaurd holder be sure to tighten the two outside screws on the fork that the holder is attached to THEN tighten down the mudgaurd holder. That should help it a bit from freely moving but it will still move if you put enough muscle into it. The ride is great otherwise. Installing it was just a pain in the butt. Be sure to watch some YouTube videos prior to installing.EDIT: Ive recently had a catastrophic failure of the suspension and almost died. I cannot recommend this product anymore. The met snapped and pushed the fender into the tire sending me falling face first onto the cement.

Instructions Slightly Unclear
Have the V3 set. Works great but the included instructions (links to a video) are for the V2 set. Had to do some searching around on my own to find solutions to the discrepancies. Two major ones:First - brake cable. The V3 set has three nuts to remove. Not two. Overall this was the most frustrating aspect of the installation as it takes sole creative use of two tools and sheer patience.Second - wheel fender. The V3 installs completely differently than the V2. In general, anyone fairly competent in the entire installation process will know how to install it but it's worth calling out that it's otherwise notably different. Pay very careful attention on installation here to make sure it's in place and very tight as it can otherwise rotate and touch the wheel if bumped out of alignment. Still seems to be a bit of a dangerzone if it rotates down-forward as it could clip the wheel if the suspension compresses enough. Definitely make sure the spring provided properly can handle the rider's weight (s). If the spring is insufficient, the wheel fender can absolutely can hit the wheel. You do not want this clipping it down-forward as it will either snap it in two or throw you over the front (hopefully the former). I ensures mine is SUPER tight and tilted a bit upwards so, if misalignment does happen, it should be hitting the back of the fender itself and - other than audible noise - shouldn't be a danger.

Less vibration, best upgrade ever
Sturdy, challenging to install correctly. Don't try it if you aren't mechanically inclined. Quality product. Changed the ride quality completely. Smoother and easier on the wrist. Less vibration. It also raised the deck hight by about 1 inch. This gave more ground clearance. It extended the length about 1 inch as well. Rides more like a snow board now. I dig it the most. A total game changer. My carple tunnel does not act up while riding. Before the upgrade I could only ride 15 to 20 minutes. Then the pain and numbness in the wrist would prohibit me from going any further.. Wear gloves and it helps even more. Now I can ride All Day if I want. THANK YOU FOR THIS MONORIM!
