Well constructed, Cat Buddy likes it, Have ordered a second to have on hand
Appears to be very well constructed, as well as safely so, without any metal or plastic bits that can be torn off the balls or cords. Cat Buddy, who is 16 lbs, prefers to play with a single ball so I simply hold the second by the cord against the wand, which in effect gives us two toys for the price of one. My one minor disappointment is that the wand wasn't designed to also be used short-handled. I'm using the connector piece as a handle and if it were a bit larger would be more comfortable to hold. I've ordered a second toy to stick back to have on hand.edit - This has been on the receiving end of daily morning and night (and sometimes in-between) half-hour to hour sessions of pouncing and wrestling and biting and clawing and back feet speed scratching since April 6th and other than a few less feathers seems none the worse for wear.... and, again, Cat Buddy is 16 lbs. Not only did I order a second toy to stick back but after seeing the quality and prices of similar toys in a local pet store I've since ordered two more.

Blast of Fun For Younger Kitties
The media could not be loaded. Well My Cat Callie is about 9 years old, she is not really into cat toys with feathery balls attached to string, she is more into the string then anything. I did my best in my video to get her to play with it. She is more into catnip toys and string really. This toy might be good for kittens, ferrets, and small puppies. Not, for older cats, unless they are still really playful.Product FeaturesExtra long 33 inch wand made of flexible, indestructible, non-toxic, polycarbonateExclusive soft but durable foam handle for easy gripping2 soft balls with feathers attached with 26" felt strands for twice the action and funLightweight but durable for hours of play.Read a book or watch T.V. while you entertain and exercising your little fur ball. This cat wand toy would be great for young cat and older cats.
I bought this cat wand toy for my 14 year old cat, Oliver Pooh Kitty. He had stopped playing with his other tots and I wanted something different that might help him engage more with play. My grandson immediately started dangling the ttoy in front of Oliver after we opened up his Christmas present. My cat started batting at the 2 furry stuffed animals for a while. My cat could not keep his focus on both little animals so my grandson laid the cat wand down beside Oliver. To my surprise my cat started playing and kicking at his toy. I have included a picture of him playing by himself. IMy grandson on another visit picked up the cat wand and he accidentally broke it in the place where you put the wand together. I think the next cat wand I buy will have only one stuffed animal at the end of the wand.

The cat wand came on June 10th. The cat likes the overall design of the dangling bits… I like even if she catches one ball there is still one that can be used for play. The wider felt piece is great instead of an elastic string. The only thing that concerns me is that the weight of all in comparison to the wand itself. The directions say it is plastic which for as thin as it is, doesn’t bode well for longevity. It would also be nice if you could take the handle and screw it on the part of the wand with the toys instead of having to use the extension. Of course, this would increase the price point since it would require a manufacturing change.Update June 22nd: The handle portion has come unattached from the screw part. A simple fix with glue. I actually purchased two of the wands so used the handle from the second purchase since I didn't have any fresh glue handy. The same exact thing happened with the second handle also. I thought with the first, I may have overtightened and made sure I was careful the second but it came undone quicker than the first one. So make sure you have fresh glue on hand for a repair.

Fun! But flimsy.
I bought this toy for my 8 month old kitten who recently destroyed her last stick toy. Although she does really enjoy the toy, and has successfully played with it many times, I can't give it 5 stars because of how flimsy it is. The wand is shipped to you in two pieces with a connector in the middle, and stays secure where they are connected, but the security of the stick to the handle is incredibly subpar. My cat hasn't broken it off yet, but any time she gets a good tug on it I worry it might snap off, and she's only a kitten! Since she's so small the balls on the end are a little too big for her, but for a larger cat I don't think it'd be a big issue. However if your cats large enough to fully capture the balls, I think they'd definitely be too big to get a good grip on them without ripping the wand off the handle. Not an awful toy by any means but for the price I've found better at Walmart or Petco.

Super fun
I love my new cat wand. I really enjoy batting it around. My brother can kinda play with me since there are two balls. But I do like to hog them both, especially since I just had mine removed.I am only 4 months old but this is like the best toy I have played with so far in my life and my mom and dad buy us plenty. I am trying to get my sister to play too..I am concerned about her since she is quite plump. She was actually starting to play last night but then one of the strings that holds the ball fell out of the end piece of the wand. Even though there is only one ball left on the wand it is better than no balls.Love Arlo
