Tiny and strong! 💪 💪 💪
It's asking me to rate the "stretch", "warmth", and "thickness" of this product. None of those qualify, so I'm a bit confused.Anyway, bought this for my teeny tiny bathroom. Some genius put wallpaper on the walls before we moved here, so every time someone showers water condensates on the walls and the paper peels a little bit more.I spent a few days looking for the smallest dehumidifier with a built in pump. This was the smallest, and I am incredibly pleased! It fits EXACTLY where I needed it to fit. For a tiny thing, it works well! It isn't loud either, it is much quieter than other dehumidifiers I have used in the past.I would purchase this again.

REVISED: 📛 Fire Hazard 📛
I previously left this unit a glowing review. It was purchased in mid January; it is now May and the unit has stopped working. Visual inspection of the power block reveals that the corner of the casing has melted. The unit was also producing a clicking noise, similar to that if fans scraping; Internal inspection reveals that this is actually the sound a relay cycling especially fast. I cannot determine which part failed first, but I presume one caused the other to fail. I would steer clear of this unit, for safety.~~The humidity in our bathroom was undeterred by the dinky bathroom fan, so we got this dehumidifier after a mini dehumidifier also fell short of the task. This unit was perfect for our needs, since there isn't much floorspance in the bathroom, so we needed one that would sit on top of the toilet tank. We routed the drain hose right into the back of the toilet tank for maintenance-free operation. Combined with the fan, this dehumidifier brings our max-humidity bathroom down to 50% humidity within 2.5 hours after a shower. Perfect balance between size and effectiveness.~~

Works fine
I got this one because it was compact enough to carry in and out of the RV, and it had the drain hose feature. This way, I just put it on the counter, run the hose to the sink, and don't have to empty it every few days (humid area). We only need it while it is sitting unused, and I take it out when we're packing for a trip, since the A/C normally keeps the humidity tolerable. I realize I could have bought a cheaper one and drilled a hole in the back, but this has enough capacity to serve in the house if there were ever a water intrusion problem.

2 Units for a Year & Half
We have a pair of these running 24 X 7 for over a yeaer and half.. First is in 40 Ft Travel Trailer, we LIVE in currently. Works well, but a bit slow reducing Humidity. It will NOT pull below 30%. Biggest drawback is does not restart after power loss. Small enough to be on counter and piped into Drain. Really works. I have had none of the issues indicated by lower ratings, so I think when you get a good one they work.Second unit is in our laundry room in garage, doubles as my office so need humdity under contorl, pulls excess laundry humdity well. Set on near Washer and drain into washer drain. No issues until this week, so I am doing a new evaluation. Again 1.5 years for 24 X 7, less a few times we forgot to restart after power loss. Am replacing, but will get extended warranty, due to the issues shown on other ratings. Less than $100, this remains a great valume.

I loved my previous Ivation dehumidifier but
Since I had previously owned a Ivation dehumidifier with automatic drain for up to 4500 square feet and was extremely pleased with it, I had high hopes for this unit. I purchased for a small guest bathroom where Damp Rid accumulated a lot of water. First, this looks nice but the manual drain hose is very large but not very long. Secondly, it is very loud. In the next room over it was so loud I could barely stand the noise. Thirdly, the cord was very hot to the touch. I checked it with a heat gun and it was almost 135 degrees and hot to the touch. Fourthly, the humidistat that I used started out at 58% prior to starting this up. I set the machine at 44%. Within three hours it was down to 52%. Great except it did not go below that number in the next 24 hours. It did not cut off that we could tell at any time yet it only accumulated exactly 2 cups or 16 ounces. Far from the 70 ounces the ad claims. I think the machine has a problem and am scared of the heat of the cord so I am choosing to return. In choosing to return this item I only had two choices for reason. Normally there are about 10 options. Neither had anything to do with it being defective.

I like the control you have with the unit
I like the control you have with the unit. Being able to control the humidity level and having two fan speeds is a plus. When the humidity level is reached it does shut off. The tank does hold quite a lot of water. The only problem I have was the way they packaged the drain hose. It's all kinked up when it's removed. I had to heat the hose up in the sun for a couple of days and reshape it. Overall, the dehumidifier works very well in my shop bathroom.

Potential issue
My original post about this unit earned it 5 stars. Unfortunately I have to downgrade this rating to 1 star, and if I could go lower than 1, I would. I used this unit once, and while it did do well for the time I used it, I can’t say the same for the second. I wanted to move the unit to a different location, so I unplugged it and positioned it where I wanted it. When I plugged it back in, it didn’t want to power on. So I checked the connection to the power block and wall, everything was good. Checked the plug connecting to the unit, and that’s when I discovered what you see in the pictures. How is it possible for a prong to get stuck in the power cord???Of course I was just past my 30 day return window, and I have yet to hear from the company like customer service said I would. This obviously is an isolated incident and my mishap can’t count for every other unit being sold, but I do believe both Amazon and the seller should offer at least a replacement, and if not a full refund. I have a brand new unit that’s basically useless. I’m not suggesting or recommending that no one buys the unit, just be aware of what could happen.

For my Atelier
My teaching Atelier is in the half level of our home, about 3.5 feet of it is below ground. The space is about 250 square feet and despite the heat it is cool in there so I have had to shut the vents for the air-conditioning. This made the room damp from humidity because the air was not circulating. This unit silently takes care of this issue and automatically dumps itself into the sink below where I have it set up. Very convenient, quiet, adds no heat tot he room and it is attractive because it is just sort of innocuous. I just plugged it in and leave it to do the job. Works the charm! Thank you!

Short lived…..
It worked well during the end of summer and into the fall, then recently the power cord corroded and no longer operates the unit. Not sure if water leaked from the hose connection or how this happened. Unfortunately, the “support” tab for this product isn’t functioning at this time.If you’re wanting anything durable, long lasting and with good customer support, I wouldn’t recommend this unit.

Great for really small spaces where no extra moisture like breathing is made
This unit looks and works great like I said for crawl spaces and your travel trailer, etc, when your not in it! It can’t keep up to any breathing, cooking, etc as it’s only 4 pint apparently. As I’ve said in my earlier review for the 12v power adapter for this is its 7 amp current draw is a lot for running it off of only batteries. A vehicle with a running engine would be the best actually. It will dry out small spaces though and has a nice display with the automatic dehumidistat.

Awesome dehumidifier!!
We bought this machine for use on our boat. As you may be able to see from the picture the unit is small enough for a counter. We used it when raining and it kept the cabin area and deck area dry! It’s best feature is that you can use its reservoir or if you aren’t around to drain it has a tube that you can let it drain in a sink or tub!Highly recommend!

Works great for small space as intended
Works great in 12x12 basement room. A bit noisier than I had hoped but far quieter than a compressor unit. Nice compact size. Best when hooked up for continuous drain as bucket access is from the back so you have to physically move the unit with a full bucket to remove and empty it. As I saw in another review it does not resume operation after a power outage unfortunately.
