I love Douglas dog a lot

Very soft, looks just like beagle.

I was looking for a stuffed version of my therapy dog for my play therapy room. Douglas came through for me before with a near-lookalike of my blue heeler, so I was excited to find a sweet beagle in their toy line, too. So far, this plush toy has stood up to a lot of play and hugs.

I love everything about this dog EXCEPT the head is turned to the side a little bit & I can't deal with it. I bought it because it looked like it faces straight forward & when I took it out of the package & saw the turned head my heart sank. Idk if it's a fluke or if they all come like this, but I can't handle it so I'll have to find them a new home. Im an adult collector so if you are looking for a dog looking straight ahead, this might not be the one for you. It is VERY soft tho, very cute, looks like a beagle & has an adorable face. If the head had been facing forward I would have given it t stars.

Very cute. My 13 year old kept bugging me for a beagle. When I was stuck with him in a car for 10 hours on our way to Hilton Head this summer, I must have heard, "I want a beagle" about 200 times. I finally logged on to Amazon without him knowing, picked out this cutie, and had it shipped to the house we had rented with my extended family for a week. It arrived two days later (prime), and my husband and I make a big show of putting airholes in the box when we gave it to him. Even though it was really ordered as a joke, he loved it (and slept with it the whole trip - although he would vehemently deny this). It still sits on his bead, since his real dog refuses to. Very well made.

This Douglas Bernie Beagle Plush is simply adorable! Any child, or adult for that matter, will simply adore this cute little fellow. He's soft to the touch, stands on his own quite nicely. And as a Star Trek Enterprise fan, he looks just like Captain Archer's pet beagle "Porthos." Beautifully constructed, with attention to details like his faux leather nose, this little guy is sure to warm your heart. ❤️

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My wife just lost her beagle of 18 years, Beanie. I purchased this stuffed animal for her because it was an adult plush that looked the most like Beanie. My wife holds it a lot during the day and even sleeps with it at night. It's a difficult time of transition and I feel like this wonderful stuffed animal is helping. I'm very glad it exists.
