This worked so well I wish I had taken a "Before" photo. When we got new sod, one piece had been covered too long and turned yellow. Not greenish-yellow. Full yellow. The sod seller said it will get green in two weeks, but I didn't want to wait. Look how perfectly the painted piece it matches the adjacent green sod!!! I was a little apprehensive when I read the "bright green" reviews. But not this time! It's a natural grass-green color. It was so easy to apply, too. Just point and spray. No trouble with the spray bottle at all. I highly recommend this product!

My front yard landscaping needed quick help after significant areas of two very large shrubs began to die. The withered, brown leaves were a real eye sore from street level and even more hideous-looking up close. While searching for the solution to whatever was killing my shrubs, I ordered this product and began painting the worst sections. Overall, it worked well! Yes, the color could be better; thus the deduction of one star. For my shrubs, this shade of green was too dark. Still, it covered the brown in 1-2 coats. I'm no longer worried about receiving a citation from the homeowners association. It's given me time to remediate a challenging problem. With warming weather patterns and more frequent drought, this product could assist homeowners in maintaining their lawns and shrubs if a greater variety of realistic colors were offered. The company should consider adding a lighter shade of the current green, a yellow green, and a grayish shade of green for better blending. I highly recommend this product. Don't forget to protect your sidewalk and any other surfaces before spraying.

I think some flying saucer landed in my front yard one night and burned my grass in weird shapes. This product did blend in those burned spots with green coloring, effectively removing them. They are a bit darker than the original grass, but acceptable. This is fairly costly for a small area. I used the entire bottle. Also, the spray bottle did not have a good misting spray, The grass would have been more uniform if it had better misting painting. But it works.

Had some patches from my dog and some dead grass that had been covered by a tarp during a project. Wanted something to help the appearance for a backyard bbq, this stuff really works. When you first spray it the color is definitely off, but as it dries down it blends well. Wear gloves and cover your feet/shoes because it does leak. Would recommend.

UPDATE! This product is not good for grass. It dried it out, made it matted and sparse in areas. Also now is a faded, light green. ORIGINAL REVIEW: When I first put this on the lawn, I thought it looked OK. It's a little bit too bright of a green. It then turned parts of my lawn a weird light green color. It doesn't seem to be good for the grass either. I'd order another product if you're looking for grass paint. I'm glad I only ordered the small spray bottle.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this grass paint worked. It even stayed on after heavy rain. I got compliments on my yard by my neighbors. Be sure to shake well and store without the spray nozzle on.

I bought this bottle and another brand (Green Again Pro by Endurant Turf Colorants) for a camouflage project trying to color match artificial grass substitutes, mostly dried raffia. I tested this in the pacific northwest in spring time with deep green/blueish grass and the color matching was pretty good. Not perfect, but pretty nice. Unfortunately, the sprayer started leaking immediately upon first use, and it leaked along the trigger getting it all over my hands and bottle. If the bottle was improved this would be the superior product. Not only should you wear gloves, but I also used a paper towel to wrap around the trigger. I'm storing this in a double paper bag because I'm fully expecting it to leak. 32 ounces of this product is A LOT, enough to cover at least a 10x10 area. It would make a lot more sense for this to be sold in smaller batches with a better container. It will take about an hour of sunlight to dry, and during that time any shoes/pet/feet that come through the area will stain. It takes 8+ hours to dry fully in warm weather without direct sunlight. If you are going to buy this product, consider purchasing a different spray bottle to load this into.
