Performs as expected.
I have owned this SSD for approximately 8 hours and it performs exactly as advertised. Here are the results from Crystal Disk Master from a copy of Windows 10 that was installed today. If this item fails within the next 5 years I will update this review accordingly - otherwise you can assume the SSD does EXACTLY what is advertised to do. This screenshot was taken on my ThinkPad T480s with an 8th Gen CORE i7.

So far so good... Highly recommend.
Update: 20190204 This SSD is in a 2012 Macbook Pro and is my daily use computer. Still works great as the day I installed it. Definately recommend.Original Review:I've had the 512gig version of this drive for about a week now. I replaced a failed 500gig mechanical drive in a 20122 Macbook Pro. Installation was super easy. Conducted an internet restore and then data migration from another older Macbook I was using. My 2012 MBP boots in between 12 to 15 seconds now. File access is super fast. Battery life is better. Heat and noise is down. All in all this drive is working great and cost less than its comparable brethren.I was not paid or compensated for this review and I would highly recommend this drive to anyone. I will be buying more for future builds.

Pretty Good SSD, No Issues Yet
Honestly no real complaint with the SSD. I've been using it for a little while on an older laptop and it has decreased boot time and increased performance. No issues yet. It's certainly not the best SSD on the market, but definitely worth what I paid for it. Wouldn't recommend it for something mission critical, but as a spare SSD it works just fine.

Write performance severely deteriorated after 5TB written. You get what you pay for.
It started off as a reasonably good budget SSD. Nothing mindblowing, but I got about what I expected in terms of performance. However, in the last 6 months or so, the write performance has somehow ended up worse than a conventional hard drive!Doing a large sequential write, I still usually get pretty good speeds, 350-500 MB/s. This is about where it was when new. However, when the drive experiences more demanding situations, like installing a videogame or compiling a large and template-heavy C++ project, it basically craps the bed every few minutes. Write speeds will drop down to around 5MB/s and access times become longer than hard drive seek times!I'm guessing there's either something wrong with my specific unit or there's something wonky with the memory controller that can't handle wear leveling processes while also serving a large queue of relatively-small random accesses. Either way, now that I got an NVMe SSD as my boot drive, it actually makes a rather competent alt-drive. Without having to deal with all of the random OS related accesses, it seems like it does not get overloaded and typically has very nice performance. Some final details, at 6.6TB written, the drive has one bad/remapped sector and one unstable sector, which is not a good sign. I would not recommend putting important things on a cheapo drive like this one.I know it's not on sale on amazon anymore, but I felt like writing this review because I just spend about a day upgrading to a 512GB NVMe SSD I got for like $60, so I'm hoping I'm not buying a new drive in another year.

You need a popular brand to get a good product
I first bought this device in January, it seems to do the job with fast speeds. As months went by, I consistently dealt with freezing and terrible Windows 10 issues; specifically with heavy read/write data.Fast forward to July; I have dealt with over 3 corruptions, each requiring a reinstall of Windows. Perhaps my system has a terrible combination of hardware / software alike, I have never dealt with such an inconvenience. Throughout my busy life style, it's been a pain in the neck. Come the arrival of my new hard-drive, I will update this review. For now, I'm partitioning and sticking with Unix though. Only windows for gaming, it's cheaper that way with less risk.

Great Price & Speed Boost Especially For Older Systems
I have ordered a total of maybe 10 of these to replace the hard drive of older desktops at work. It really gives quite a speed boost to older systems and have not had any issue with any of them. I bought the extended warranty just Incase but don’t see any problem with them yet. I would highly recommend these and for the price you can’t go wrong!

Put it in me laptop!
Yeah I was not expecting such a cheap drive to work so well. Better yet perform. After my laptop HDD died I quickly impulse bought this to use my computer again. The speed these give you even breathe life into an old system. Especially laptops or low performance tasked computers.

Not at all what it should be way less space
Not the size it should be. Insted its 476Gb insted of 512Gb. I would stay away from it this is pretty bad that they chip you that much storage. I understand some people will say well it the fact things are rated in bytes and when read in windows it will show you the bits instead of bites. well that's not the case a Mb is a Mb and a Gb is a Gb. I also do not like how they give speeds of 6 Gb a sec I understand you will never get that but you should get close well after testing on several systems I only get around on average 263 MB read and 250 write that's not in line with the speeds you should get at all. witch I would be ok with but the difference is size of the drive that's a huge size difference.

Pretty fast for a budget drive - more than twice as fast as SATA.
I bought this for a budget mini-itx build, using an Onda b320-ipc motherboard from China and a Ryzen 2200G APU and it's perfect.I cost around £31 at the time (when other 2.5" SATA drives were around £25-26), so there was a little premium on this, but it made the build much neater, saved a £1 on a SATA cable and gives me around 1100-1200MB/s read and 1000MB/s write speed, so I'm really happy with it - and those speeds may, in fact, be limited by the slightly esoteric motherboard that I'm using. There's not much else to say, really. It appears to be reliable so far and I've installed a whole bunch of things on there to around 60% full and it's not really slowing up any - which is a surprise for a budget drive.I'd get more at this price as it makes any build so much nicer when you don't have SATA power and signal cables all over the shop.

Five weeks and counting and so far so good
As a subscriber to the adage "You get what you pay for", the Drevo's low price had me slightly concerned about the wisdom of installing one as my Win 10 boot device. I am pleased to say, however, that my fears were unfounded and the card has worked flawlessly for over a month now. I'll be sure to report any longer term reliability problems should they arise but, on the evidence so far, the Drevo is a real bargain. Recommended.

Worked for my Ryzentosh
A bit hard up for cash so I used this drive to build my ryzentosh, everything working well. No apparent issues with the drive, the boot time is about a minute which is reasonable for a ryzentosh. Its been up and running for about 10 days and no issues, so I have no complaints. I don't care about benchmarks performance, just want a drive for daily use, this seems to fill the bill.

Grab them while these last at £47.99...you will not regret it.
Stunning value for the price. There is no way you can get a cheaper half-terabyte NVME drive with performance either matching or close to top tier branded models. It is ridiculous how good it is. Been buying Drevo hard drives for a while now, and have sampled some of their other products as well including mechanical keyboards. They have never disappointed. They are kinda like the 'Xiaomi' of the PC hardware market. Tremendous value without breaking the bank.

Very fast and reliable
Very fast and reliable M.2. SSD.. installed in a HPx360. It just slots in, installed Windows off a USB which only took about 30 mins in total and now boots windows almost instantly, faster than my £2000 desktop with a Ryzen 3800X and Samsung M.2 SSD and reliable so far (only had it for a month).
