Solenoid arrived DOA. Starter seems OK.
Solenoid was received dead on arrival. It took us an hour or so of trouble shooting to figure out that the brand new solenoid in this kit was defective. We eventually put the original solenoid back on the bike and we were back in business. This does make me question the quality of the starter. It is still going strong after 6 months, but has always seemed to turn over slower than the original.Summary:Save money and do NOT buy this kit with the solenoid... just get the starter if you have to.If money/shipping time is not a factor, I would opt for the factory original over this one 100%.
