Poor people no longer had to bleach regular feed sacks to obtain fabric for clothing - now they could look as stylish as anyone. Arranged according to pattern. Nice eye candy book for those interested in Americana and the history of fabric design

I liked the colors of the picture and they fit my old pillows

I was preparing a cultural enrichment/history of hard times and wanted to include a section on how homemakers used flour and feed sacks. How it enabled the farm wife the ability to have the same fashion fabric for clothing and home decor' as the city dweller for free or for only a fraction of expense. This was a good resource.

It is an excellent start to my newly discovered interest in vintage feed sacks. I had no idea those old relics had gotten so valuable and so popular. I learned to sew by making two dresses out of feed sacks. I wish I still had them. I bought the book because I bought some old quilt tops at an estate sale that I felt pretty sure were made from feed sacks. Come to find out yes they are! What a treasure! The book is now one of my favorites.

A truly informative book. Great photos of all the old Feed Sacks. Great for those just starting to or for those who just want an idea of the value of their feed sacks.

Purchased to help someone identify their feed sacks as vintage. Unfortunately theirs were not found in this book. Very informative and interesting.

Prices aren't at all accurate and doesn't give you much information about the sacks. Not very informative. Great pictures to look at though.

表紙の写真のような「パッチワークキルト」の作品の作り方が載っていると思い込んでしまい購入。ワクワクして中をみたら、布の模様だったのですね！！アンティークなフィードサック生地のカタログでした…。フィードサックの歴史などとともに図柄のデザインを見たい方向けの本です。(作品の作り方は載っていません。）「へえ〜、綺麗だわ〜。こんな柄を使ってみたいわ〜」とは思いましたが、価格が高かったので私にとっては残念な買い物でした。（私の思い込みが悪いのですが…）
