This was a perfect gift for my daughter birthday. The lock is easy to use. She loves how soft and furry it feels. It is a beautiful design. She is going to have so much fun with it.

My 5 year old has been begging for a diary with a lock and this was too cute to pass up especially with all the accessories. She loved it however the pen is a little hard to switch colors and the zipper on the pencil bag broke INSTANTLY.
