I Broke The Code On How To Program These To Be Dusk To Dawn!
I have read lots of reviews here of people complaining, saying these do NOT work as dusk to dawn lights. This is 100% INCORRECT! I played around with them for 2 days after they were installed and I have solved this puzzle for everyone, which I will now share. 1) Make sure the lights are set @ the 10-minute mark. They MUST be set EXACTLY where it says 10 minutes, not just in the vicinity. 2) set the motion range in the middle, not the max. Even though you won't be needing this for dusk to dawn, it seems to make them work much better if you do! 3) wait until dusk, I wait until 10 p.m. because they only stay on for 8 hours and that is the best time, in my time zone. Walk up to each light to activate the motion. Make SURE you let them stay on for 1 minute, to warm up. Otherwise, this won't work! 4) go to each light switch and switch the light off for 1 to 2 seconds, then IMMEDIATELY switch it back on. Make sure you can physically see the light when doing this. You can't assume the light is off, and then back on, as it sometimes resets itself. Once you get it to turn off and back on, then it is set for the night! If when switching off for 1-2 seconds, the light remains off, then it has not reset properly, and you simply repeat this step. Once you have it, then it automatically remembers each time afterwards! Then, all you have to do is repeat the same easy steps each night, at the designated time you choose, and they WILL work EVERY time! I've tested them for a week already and 100% work dusk to dawn! Some will complain that you need to set them nightly, however, @ this price point, and the quality and brightness of these lights, along with how they can be configured to cover so much area from each side, make it a minor thing for me, and a no brainer! Also, by doing this nightly, you can assure your lights are working properly and not just assuming, if they are the fancy automatic lights, that cost up to 5 times more! These are hands down the best lights I have ever owned, in the decade plus I have been using and replacing them! The other lights just had a 1-year warranty, vs 5 years for these!

A Very Well Put Together Company.
I first want to say that the lights are very attractive, well put together, and provide quite good lighting in those needed areas. We had a group of kids walking through our neighborhood opening up car doors that weren't locked. I guess they were board from not being in school during the COVID-19 debacle. I installed the light above my garage door to light up when anyone walked into my driveway. It lights up the front of my home like daylight! However, the first light that I received was not functioning as it should. It was staying on almost constantly regardless of the settings. I understand that sometimes mechanical pieces of equipment have a mind of their own, so I sent an email to them and the response was fantastic. Jefferey had several suggestions to the settings for me to try over several emails back and forth over just a couple of days. His responses were very timely! We both decided that the light must have a defect, and without any qualms at all, Jefferey immediately sent me out another light in the mail. He even gave me a slight upgrade to the original light I had purchased! When a problem arises with a product of any kind that we as consumers purchase, it is the quality of the customer service you are provided that really becomes the value in what you purchased. The new light arrived, I wired it, hung it back in the same place, and have not had a single issue with the new light once! Despite the original light having an issue, I could not be more pleased with the product that I had purchased. In this day and age where customer service skills seem to be a lost art, Jefferey is an expert, and a true value to this company! If an exterior security light is in the future for you, or any type of lighting that SANSI offers for that matter, this company has a phenomenal product, as well as TRUE customer support! I wouldn't look anywhere else!

Programming not reliable to keep lights on when you need them from your house switch
So, since nobody was able to answer my question before I bought them (2), I decided to take the risk and buy them anyways. My question was based on knowing if there was sort of program where I could have the lights permanently on during night time by the house switch (not flipping the switch built in the sensor itself), when I revived them (two days ago) I read on the manual that in fact this was an option by flipping switch off-on in 1-2 seconds on the auto mode and lights would remain on for 8 hrs or by deactivating this mode by switching back off-on.I was exited for the great news! But after installing them and waiting for the night time to do this test on auto mode I found that the mode doesn’t work as manual states. I tried again tonight (second night) and followed instructions as per manual and even tried different on-off-on combinations without luck. (Lux are less than 150 at night). It becomes very annoying when you have a backyard/BBQ area that you need the lights on for a while and have to manage them from the switch on the sensor instead of your house switch. I have my front lights of the house on the soffit and I added a motion switch that actually has the off-on within 2 seconds and works great. These lights are nice and bright, the sensor seems to work fine except that I have to set the sensitivity to middle of the dial because on of them was on and off without motion in the first night. At this point I don’t know if should I return them and try again or just deal with it. By the way I’m a electrical/electronics tech with 20 years of experience and this is not an “operator error” as I see on the daily bases.

Nice and bright
This light was easy to install on our garage soffit. The LED lights and sensor bend and rotate almost every which way to make it possible to mount almost anywhere. Lights up the driveway and part of the backyard nice and bright. I’m guessing the sensor notices movement about 20 feet away from where we mounted it before the light pops on. Zero complaints so far.

My 3rd Sansi light due to their warranty and usability
Have been using Sansi for a few years now at our house --- had 2 of their sensor lights already installed and in use (one 2 light, and 1 4 light). When they work they are awesome -- great light, very good range, and sensing is pretty good.I have had issues with previous ones but Sansi has been great to deal with to replace under warranty ... and that means a lot to me when a company will stand behind their warranty. This one is now in use and so have 2 of these 4 light models lighting up our back yard for the dogs and I going out in the dark before bed.The only thing I have noticed is the motion detection on this one doesn't seem as good as previous ones -- it isn't that is doesn't work, but the sensitivity seems different even thought I have its setting the same as my other one. Just food for thought...

Bright light
Works well even on windy cloudy days. Able to adjust globes to light areas you want to focus on. Hopefully lasts at least a couple of years surviving our cold winters.
