Beautiful smooth whisky
I am not a whisky aficionado that can tell you the individual flavours they can smell and taste. However, I do like a good whisky and I found this to be a lovely smooth whisky with a great mellow taste. There is no harshness when drinking it, and it has a light fruity and enjoyable flavour.

Nice whisky
I always purchase Scotch. I received a bottle of this from my son as a gift. I didn't expect it being on the same level as Scotch but it is and is very nice, so when my gift was drank I purchased another bottle. It's worth a purchase and see what you think.

Fantastic whisky! Bottle emptied quickly!
I took a punt on this after reading some other reviews and wanting to try something different. My staple favourite has been Aberlour 12 for many years. But this might just be my new go to whisky! I am not the best at describing the flavour other than this is very easy drinking! Its full of flavour - full bodied not a thin tasting whisky, fruity. Terrible review I know! Just buy it and try it!

Good flavour, not as smooth as some.
As a long time whisky drinker I had to try an Australian effort! It's not bad but ...I found it a bit harsh on initial sup even though it promotes itself as smooth, but then it's quite young so that's to be expected . I like my whiskies straight with a cube of ice, this needed three cubes to tone down the 'burn'.The flavour is not unpleasant, I upped it from 3 to 4 stars because of this.An initial hard oakiness which to my horror I thought would develop into something akin to an American bourbon mellows to a spiced fruit and caramel flavour which then matures into a rich toffee flavour as it develops but the final finish is a bit too sweet and my mouth was left 'tingling' with ethanol. At £25 it's well priced for what you get but there are better and slightly older singles out there at this price point.Would I buy again? Maybe, I like to vary my whiskies and at it's offer price of £25 it is good value however I would not pay more.

Fantastic
I bought this for a friend who said it was one of the best tasting single malt whiskey he had tasted. He loves his single malt so this is a High recommendation.

Average at best
Too expensive for the quality. Didn't like it. Won't buy it again.

A worthy medal winner ...
I just accidentally finished my first bottle of Nova in under a week.. I found it rather flawless, which for me can sometimes mean a bit too perfect and unchallenging, but I found that there's also a fresh and exciting character about it to make it a rewarding encounter.. I also just noticed that it was a Double Gold medal winner at San Francisco World Spirits after recommending it to a friend. I love the Australian based presentation, with the Seven stars in their flag perhaps influencing the Starward's identity and ethos around letting go of the past and looking into tomorrow with great hope and expectation. :)
