The Original Chartpak AD Markers, Tri-Nib, 25 Assorted Landscape Colors in Tabletop Cube, 1 Each (L)

Was given a few of these back in the 80's and loved how they responded to cold press board and papers. Kind of nice on the hot press too. Kind of partial to "hot press" surfaces is all.In any case, it was like a blast from the past when I saw that some were still around! So I treated myself to the set. Never had a full set before. I still love these. If you take care of these markers they darn near last forever. The one's that I mentioned earlier...I had those for nearly 15 years and that was with almost daily use! Took skill to use these the correct way. Now everything's gone digital. No matter...there will always be room for some old-school skills.So glad that some of those older generation tools are still available. Thanks for reading.

Very good product

Markers are wide barrel making them easy to hold and control. Single tip, they can be used to make a variety of line widths with beautiful color saturation. Color selection is a nice variety, with blendable hues. The warm grays are more like taupes which blend well with most colors. I combine these with Copic & Prismacolor markers, but these are my favorite. They are a bit strong in the odor department, which may be overwhelming for those who are scent sensitive.

These are really great markers.. when they work. I must have gotten a bad batch which is so disappointing and frustrating especially considering how much these cost. The reservoir in the tip will not stay full so I’ll get about ten seconds of use then it’s dried out. Then I wait about 30 minutes and maybe the reservoir fills back up. I know they can work better than this because some of them work great. The caps were loose or not really on the markers when I got them and that may be why so many are broken. I’d really like another set that works because I need these for school..

The pack of markers looks like it was used- it arrived ripped and spilled, one marker had its cap off. This was supposed to be a new item- has it been used? Also, very poor packaging.

These markers smell like paint thinner. They appear streaky for about 15 to 30 seconds before the color COMPLETELY evens out, leaving a flat chunk of color without streakmarks! I purchased these because one of my favorite artists, Sarlis, uses them often. I was not disappointed.

Pour dessiner, très bon marqueurs. Livraison excellente. Par contre sur 25 crayons, j'ai 4 crayons qui ne fonctionnent déjà plus.
