It works. But Do not expect greatness out of it. Been using it for 2 weeks now. First off, minor complaint: it includes screws to attach the sending unit to the included bung adapter. They were the wrong size. easily fixed but you would think something this obvious they would catch. Secondly, if you have a large tank (mine is 275 gallons) then do not expect very accurate readings. Mine fluctuates 10 to 15 gallons daily.This is probably about the same accuracy as a mechanical float level would give. But a mechanical float level is over $100 cheaper.Base unit includes features like monitoring your daily usage and daily cost, which is cool but useless since the reading is so in accurate. Did I used 5 gallons today? Or 15? This device cannot answer that question with any sort of accuracy. So all that marketing hype about displaying history data and cost usage is just that: marketing hype. This feature could've been left off the device and it I would never have missed it. The good news is it was easy to install And arrive much faster than Amazon estimated.And I do like the fact that I can tell when I'm getting low on fuel from the comfort of my living room right next to the heater, rather than having to go out to the garage and look at a float gauge. I think I'll give it another week and decide if that convenience is worth over $100 to me.My initial thoughts are, it's not worth what you pay for it. Only slightly better than a float gauge but orders of magnitude more expensiveUPDATE: after several months of using it, I’m downgrading it to a single star. Really wish I had never purchased it. That inaccurate reading problem I mentioned above is really getting to me. My supplier gives a quantity discount if I have over 150 gallons delivered. My tank is 275 gallons. This product showed that I had 90 gallons in the tank so I ordered a delivery thinking there was room for 185 gallons. Tank only took 130 gallons causing me to pay a higher rate (guage was a full 50 gallons off)Basically - it’s worthless. Take my advice and avoid this product. I got screwed so you don’t have to.

I just finished install and it was easier than the instructions let on. Before install, I did some research, and located setup videos in metric and German. So I was pretty concerned going into this. Happy to find out that the unit I received was set to gallons and inches thankfully by the grace of god! And that the setup menu is super easy, just follow along with the on screen prompts and get it done! Hardest part was getting the extra hole on my tank opened to receive the reader.The temperature reader on the inside display shows temp for the room where the display is located. So it reads a comfy interior room temp. Which is always good to know but I would rather know the temp at the actual oil tank. Just my opinion...My unit does not have daily fluctuations and as others have described. It appears to be showing a steady decline in gallons since install as you would expect from average usage.

I bought this for my parents. I love the fact that no internet connection is required. I only wanted to make it so that they don't need to go down the basement stairs to know if they're going to run out of oil. Mission accomplished! I was even able to adjust the measurements of the tank during setup and dial in the accuracy.

Not easy to setup but works great

Seems to work pretty accurately. The issues I had with it is I thought I was getting a metric one, but got a US Gallon one, would be nice when you set it up to pick which one you want. When I was pairing it I put the sensor at the location pin but would not pair and had to move it around a bit so it would pair. Another issue is frost, on a heavy frosty morning I got a error reading saying that it was not connected for more than six hours, but once it warmed up it worked fine.Before I bought the unit I emailed the company for more information on the unit and they contacted me quickly and answered my questions, was really impressed by that.

Works well and is very useful since we're on rain catchment on Salt spring island. Easy to pair and calibrate. Only concern is it is limited a few thousand gallons. We have linked tanks and would like to have shown up to 8000 gal but the system won't allow this so we have to multiply the reading by 4
