how many ties are there?

Hi, There are a total of six ties, three on each panel.

I have a convertible crib where one side - the back of the crib is solid and has a cushion back so it doesnt need a bumper. Will this fit ?

If it's only one side that is solid you should be fine. You would seal the Velcro on the other side. You can't just use three sides though the bumper goes all around

Help this first-time momma! will a double-sided adhesive stick to this mesh? i plan to attach my teyga bamboo pacifier holder!

Looking at the item online, unfortunately we think it is unlikely it will stay with the configuration of the TEYGA Pacifier Holder Pacifier Clip. The mesh is "airy" to allow breath through, so there isn't a solid surface that tape would be able to adhere to.

Is the star pattern option NOT for a solid end crib?

Hello, unfortunately no, we have white and gray options for solid end cribs. You will want to ensure that "solid-end" is in the product listing to get the product with the right fit for a solid-end crib.
