Since I'm constantly in the forest, desert, and outside adventuring as a full time traveler, I picked up this headlamp based on the positive reviews.The LED lights are very bright and have 3 settings (2 small LED, all 3, or blinking). The fact that it has rechargeable batteries is a plus because you simply plug in the USB port and let her charge with no need to buy batteries. That being said, it comes as a cost. The battery pack is large and heavy and not great for comfort directly on your head. Wear this with a hat and it's great. These will work great for camping night adventures and other leisure activities but I would reccomend a smaller set for jogging.Pros: bright LED lights, rechargeable, sturdy build, easy to adjust.Cons: just too heavy and bulky for something you want on your head.Overall these are a great pick up aside from the weight, which is why I have given 4 stars.**Installation note** you must open the battery pack to open thr batteries and reverse the polarity. Also, I saw no panick whistle in my package.

I got this for my boyfriend, as he's an electrician and is constantly working in attics and underneath houses, so lighting is a bit scarce and very much needed. Couple things I noticed.I like that it's rechargeable (it comes with a charging cord) and how bright the lights are. Just peel off the battery cover, take them out of the plastic, and put back in. It's hands free so you can focus on what you're actually doing, without worrying about holding a flashlight. I also like that you can choose to only use one of the lights and not all three, if needed. The power button is located on top of the main light. It's easy to adjust the bands and you can even adjust the lights themselves for better angles.The only thing I found I wasn't crazy about, is there isn't any kind of padding on the battery pack. After wearing it for long periods of time, I can see where it might be a bit uncomfortable for the back of your head, given how bulky the battery pack is. Although I'm sure this can be fixed with putting a mini pad on it yourself.Overall I think he will love this and find it very useful! I will update with his response.Same day update:He likes it!

We really love this rechargeable headlamp. The lights are bright and the recharging via usb is nice so we don't go through a lot of batteries. (be sure to take the plastic off the batteries when you first get it!) You can use the center light separate from the additional side lights. Simply press the button multiple times to get the different lights on and 4 times to turn on the strobe.The head straps are adjustable to fit snuggly on your head but I highly suggest wearing this over a ball cap or hard hat. The hat makes extended wear much more comfortable with the battery pack and weight. This is an awesome headlamp for working in a dark area or walking through the woods or camping. It's also a perfect headlamp for night fishing! I haven't exercised in it but personally I think it is a bit heavy duty with too much weight for running. This is a workhorse!

Dont care for how these battery coil wires pull the back of the headband to one side but other than that, it's brightness is great. Durability remains to be tested over time. Even though the unit comes with an android USB charger, I found it easier and faster to charge with just taking the batteries (2) out to an external charger.

I was very disappointed I had to buy two of these and both of them had Parts issues one didn't have the right connection 4 the charging and the second one was that I didn't like how so bright it was I personally would not buy one of these I want to buy one at a flea market and honestly it was better than these and cheaper

Be sure you pull the plastic tab out of the battery holding area before charging! When I first received this headlamp, I thought that it had bad batteries and would not charge. I contacted the seller and they were very nice and helped me to solve the problem. Once I pulled the plastic tab out, I was ready to go! This headlamp is ultra bright and adjustable. It is heavy duty but comfortable. I would highly suggest this for many activities.

I got this headlamp for a friend who works on his car frequently. This is great as it's adjustable. He said it is nice, bright and durable. The head straps are comfortable and fully adjustable. The fact that it is rechargeable and won't eat batteries is what had me sold.

Very few things work as advertised but this is the best head lamp I have ever used. I like to hunt. I hate to walk into or out the the woods in the dark. This things lights up the whole woods in front of you. The battery lasts for many days and recharges in just an evening. BEst piece of gear I ever bought. I've been hunting for my whole life. I'm 58.
