Nice product for a great price
It’s hard to find a good Thunderbolt based hub that you can leave at your desk. This one is great. It has enough ports to satisfy the need to connect or have fixed connection for storage and peripherals. It can take a USB hub connection and support more available ports. Plus it has a method to power the laptop, and has a pass through Thunderbolt to connect a Thunderbolt device. Also has HDMI for my second display, and Ethernet, which I use to access devices over a switch. It was a great find, and it works as it should and as I need it. Better than a dongle, and it feels more like a docking station. Hope this helps.

Amazing build quality at a really good price
Very good built quality, the suspension design looks really cool and efficient for heat dissipation by allowing airflow even for bottom plate too. I'm using it for my Mac with dual external monitor (4k+2k) setup via additional downstream thunderbolt port as Mac does not support MST protocol via DP/USB 3.2. All the port work flawlessly.

Inexpensive quality dock - great value
Good thunderbolt dock. Using for both Windows and Mac and working fine with both. Good port selection and great price. 100W power supply is enough to laptops with discrete GPU's as well so all good. Great value

Very stable; works as expected!
I've been using this hub for about six months. It's working very well. The only thing that didn't work so well was the HDMI connection to an external monitor (a 4K 32" LG monitor from 2018). After Mac would sleep, the monitor would have interference that would only be remedied by a reboot. But I switched to a Thunderbolt to DisplayPort cable, and now everything is working perfectly. Since this device is Thunderbolt 3, I have an OWC Thunderbolt 5 hub between it and my MacBook Pro M4 Max so that I can split Thunderbolt 4/5 ports to higher-bandwidth devices (namely, storage). Highly recommended.

Unreliable
Initially worked perfectly for a few months and was satisfied with having a single cable that could provide power as well as to attach accessories to.Unfortunately, the dock also has an unreliable connection and at first needed to be disconnected/reconnected a few times a month, but now it is as frequent as every day.The dock also no longer provides power to the laptop and I need to use the charger that came with laptop. Several new thunderbolt cables, did not solve either issue and it's concluded that the issue is with the dock.If the dock had functioned as it did in the first few months, this would have been a 5 Star product, but because of the issues that I listed above, I would not recommend this product.

Buggy and Inconsistent
Seems to crash windows server on Mac.The result of this is both external and internal displays go dark. I need to restart Mac to get internal Mac screen working. Sounds like a Mac dock incompatibility, possibly a Mac problem. However reverted to a 20 dollar USB-C hub and no problem. I see no driver or firmware updates for this. Nicely built high quality. Great power supply and reasonable price. Returning spent hours on this .Log below.System Integrity Protection: enabled.Crashed Thread: 1 com.apple.coreanimation.display.primaryException Type: EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT)Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000Termination Reason: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 6 Abort trap: 6Terminating Process: WindowServer [149]Application Specific Information:CoreAnimation: failed to set internal panel mode! Great for most users, but not for external HDD or wired headphones
This dock has a ton of ports, works well with displays, and charges my macbook pro very easily. I was also able to daisy-chain with another USB switch, which went [mouse + keyboard] -> switch -> Kensington hub -> Macbook. No issues with ethernet either. The main problems I have with this dock is it introduces a ton of noise when using wired headphones, and the audio completely cuts out when Time Machine starts backing up to the external drive plugged in to the back. Further, every time I put my laptop to sleep, when I wake it back up I get a notification from MacOS telling me I did not properly eject my drive. Could result in data loss for some, potentially. If you're really worried about that I would plug in your drive directly to your laptop to be sure. Other than that, compared to other docks at this price it has a lot of charging potential, and a ton of ports. Gotta weigh the pros with the cons.

Best Thunderbolt 3 docking Station
I bought this Kensington Thunderbolt 3 docking station to expand my MacBook Pro M3 Ports and it does not disappoint. The two front facing usb c ports are 10Gbps, the rear usb c ports are thunderbolt 3 of which one is dedicated host port, so I’m not losing my thunderbolt ports which still is two.The there are 4 usb a ports one of which is 10Gbps. The Ethernet port works well and the headphone jack too. I use it mainly to connect my midi keyboard and my audio interface.I also have my Logic Pro library on external drive which is also connected to the TB3 dock. Lastly I have a LG 27 inch 4K monitor also connected to it via its HDMI 2.0 port. The dock also charges my MacBook Pro at 96W which is better than the 70W included charger. Only downside for me is the light stays on no matter if the MacBook is plugged in or not.All in all this dock is very well priced and is solid aluminium and feels really premium. Compared to other pricier options like the TS4 and TS3 the Kensington SD5560T thunderbolt 3 dock is a must have.
