It is very bright and I use it to light up a crystal tree. Looks so nice!My only addition to this post is you should try and make a rechargeable one with white lights only and with a timer. I have a base with the above features but it no longer holds the charge long. I took it to battery world only to find it has lithium ion batteries dangerous to work with and therefore they won’t be able to help. Must be an easier way of working with normal rechargeable batteries. Be willing to pay the extra monies.

I needed something very bright and wasn’t sure if this would work, but it’s great! It may not look bright in some pictures, but it is very bright! There is also a foam padding on the top of the light, which I wasn’t expecting. It’s very nice and overall I’m happy. However, it needs 3 batteries which seems a bit much.

I liked how this product was straight forward. It lights up at the touch of a switch. Simple enough. I did not like the coolness color of the light. I would have preferred a warmer glow to create more of an calm ambience. This was still a nice, bright light that can penettate through translucent glass well. Don't stare directly at the light unless you want discomfort!

I got a couple of these (the other was corded, rotating model by Sunrise), for glass objects that have about the same footprint as this base. For me this one is the best:- I liked the rotation on the other one, but it made noise.- The top surface is a very subtle felt-like material that keeps your trinket from making clinking noises when people walk by.- The lights are distributed over the whole surface instead of just the centerInitially I thought not having the option for a cord was a draw-back... but I use rechargeable batteries and would likely not use that option anyhow.

So far, good. Kind of light weight, I have it supporting a fairly heavy crystal vase filled with water and flowers, holding up just fine and an excellent alternative to adding a lamp on my entry hall chest. No cord, the batteries will do for the few hours of use. Got some raves from friends. Inexpensive, when available will probably also order one with warm lighting.

This light base is ok. I like to place my glass animals on it, pretty effects. Very simple.

I use this as a display stand for the wire and gem stone trees I create! It works beautifully

These are completely useless. Junk! Do not buy. The do not recharge. They do not go into a solid white light. Looks like a disco ball for all of the 5 minutes they work. I am returning.
