Samsung EF-ZN950CBEGUS Galaxy Note8 S-View Flip Cover with Kickstand, Black

Fantastic case. Makes the Note 8 even more beautiful. I've had a few of these S-view cases before and this is by far the best one. The front is a very shiny, mirror finish, scratch resistant plastic and the rear is a softer matte non-scratch finish. This one can be laid down on hard surfaces without fear of scratching the case unlike previous models. My Note 8 is Orchid Gray which I'm not too fond of (I really dislike the Midnight Black). It's really too bad that Samsung only sells these two colors in the U.S. My S-view case is a blue color which turns the Note 8 into a really beautiful phone. This case will not give you heavy duty protection but it will sure make your phone much more beautiful and elegant. It probably costs more than it should but if you can afford it and want a beautiful case that offers good, but not great protection you won't be sorry.Update: I've been using this case for 2 months now and I still think it's a fantastic case. I've dropped my Note 8 three times now on a concrete floor and neither the phone nor the case itself has suffered any damage whatsoever, not even a scratch. I'm in my mid 70's and can not hold on to things as well as I used to. All I can say is that the Note 8 is very durable itself and this case does offer some pretty good protection.

I bought this case in gold when I bought my phone 8 months ago. It was time for a new case so I ordered a nice, slimline wallet case. Within an hour of receiving that case I jumped back on Amazon and ordered this one. I thought I would try something new but this one can't be beat. It has the looks (lots of compliments), very thin (like not having a case) and the features are great. See through cover where you can answer calls, etc. while it's closed. The feature I didn't realize I missed the most when I tried another case...when you open the cover it wakes up your phone and turns it on automatically. Also, you can adjust the volume keys while it is closed. The only downside is after a while it can get scratches and does show fingerprints.p.s. Get the real Samsung case...don't mess with the cheaper knock-offs

Pretty great cover. I was concerned when I first got it because the cover refused to close snuggly onto the phone, so I thought it was shoddy. It broke in a bit more after some use, became less rigid, and hugs the phone more snug. The cover itself will cloud up the light coming from the screen a bit and I was expecting to see through it more crisply, but it's a very minor issue (most notably on the edges, where notifications are).My only other complaint is that there's not really any way to 'lock' it into its standing configuration, so it can sometimes feel like trying to stack playing cards. The description says it has a 'kickstand', which it doesn't really. Instead, you fold it into a triangle and it supports itself on a flat surface.But even with these grievances, it's a really nice case it looks very sharp. It feels very durable and it has (almost) zero impact on the usability of form-factor of the phone. You can even use then S-Pen or Qi charging features through it. For S-Pen users, you'll find that drawing through the cover adds more friction than the phone's screen, which makes it easier to draw/write in finer detail. Add bonus!

Wow! This authentic Samsung product is amazing! A smart case for a smart phone. The Always On Display is functional with the cover closed. You can view time, date & notifications as well as receive & end calls without having to open the cover. Opening the cover wakes the phone up while closing the cover puts the phone to sleep. The power button is easily accessible on the right & the volume/Bixby buttons on the left can be operated with the cover closed. This case is beautiful, functional & well constructed. It's made of high quality material & is very durable. Very solid Samsung product! Highly recommend!

I was a Amazon prime member and I ordered this case from prime but I received it unexpectedly late, I was so disappointed by prime that I cancelled the service. However, the case came in a very decent and protective packing and it fits the phone perfectly. The Sview feature is amazing and really helps in easy operation of the basic features like answering calls and alarm notification. Overall, it's a good case. I got one for Note 8 and one for S8+.

I adore this case. I'd seen the black version in Target and didn't allow myself to spend the $50 (!!!) to get it. One day I remembered there's this angel called Amazon and I found the case for HALF the price AND it's available in the same lovely orchid grey as my phone.The case works perfectly and actually helps because it turns off my phone in the middle of the night when it turns itself on after hitting 100% charge. Only once was I listening to music, closed the cover and my finger hit the Next button as the music controls displayed on the cover. I make sure to shut it off now to prevent that.Great case. Not sure how long it'll stand you to droppings but I'm just more careful with it now. Much more than I was with my OtterBox...
