There were lots of comments about the taste. Well yes, it does lack flavors like traditional curries taste but I still think a bit of salt or liquid aminos help it. But here's the important review I think people should know.... I am usually exhausted once a month & have migraines (crimson tide) but after eating Huel I did not experience that what so ever! I will experiment every month to see what happens. But I'm extremely happy I didn't suffer this month. I haven't gained any weight & I can bike ride for an hour or more. I'm looking forward to buying more varieties of Huel!

As other customers have stated in the reviews, which I neglected to read, there was no scoop provided with this or the other flavor I tried. I ended up weighing out the amount on this, but it was absolutely waterier than I would have expected and I don't think it was an issue of not getting the measurements right. The overwhelming smell and flavor that comes from this is lemongrass, which I'm not fond of. I won't let it go to waste, but I certainly won't enjoy eating the rest of this. It is filling and high in protein, so it's at least good for you.

There’s sort of a lime flavor to it, and I noticed that a lot of premade meals have some sort of extra citrus flavor probably because It helps as a natural preservative. That said, it’s really not as bad as some of the other ones that I’ve tried. Taste wise I would say it’s three out of five, but for me that’s still worth it. I got the little black container that helps get the proportions right. It can be watery after you first put in the boiling water or microwave it, but if you stir it and microwave for 20 seconds then let it sit a while, you get kind of a casserole consistency. It hasn’t given me any stomach aches, and I think the value is good.

My first time trying Huel. I’m traveling for work and was hoping this would be a good hotel meal. There was no scoop provided, and I can’t seem to find a measurement, on the bag. I’m certainly not going to pour it all out and divide into 7 piles. Lame The watery soup that I made tastes ok, but I have no idea what the consistency is supposed to be

Tastes pretty good and satisfies my hunger. I keep it at work and use it when I don't have time to get lunch or as a snack. Not sure if I could live off of it but it has been a very handy thing to have around.

This may have its use for survival or camping but it does not taste good at all.

Honestly, I am not sure what the negative reviews are for. This is quick/convenient food from a bag, not a freshly prepared Thai dish. If you want something fast to scuff down during a busy day or want to count your calories, this is it. If you want a piping hot plate of curry from someone who deserves a tip, you are not gonna find it here.

The advertised large bag IS NOT what I received. Instead, I received 7 individual pouches at DOUBLE THE PRICE available on the Huel website. The pouches are not even close to equaling what would be in a large. This product is falsely advertised and is not eligible for returns. I would NEVER have purchased had I known what I would be receiving. I was deceived by the picture of the product, cheated out of my money, and then denied a return.
