Fresh Habanero Chili Peppers 1 lb

These peppers were shipped extremely quickly. I was concerned when it got held up at customs (I didn't know I ordered from somewhere that would require a visit through customs), and the shipping was delayed by several days. I didn't even think I was going to get them, and then they showed up. I didn't want to open the box because I was certain there would be so much rot from the delay in CA with the hotter temps, but was shocked when I opened it up and I only found 1 pepper that I would not use due to the decreased quality. All the others actually looked fresher than the habanero I would buy at my local grocery store. It was a great value for the 2 lbs you get and the quality you get. I use mine for fermented hot sauce, and I did take a taste to determine what heat level my sauce would be. The one I tasted had slightly less spiciness and heat than I would have thought, but it still packs a punch that would be more than satisfactory for the general population. The flavor was strong and fruity, as it should be. I was surprised at the quantity of peppers that came in a 2lb package.

Very disappointed in the quality of the peppers. I ordered 2 bags of the 8oz peppers and they were amazing color, fresh, everything. Just received the 32oz bags today and wont be able to use even half of them. Between color and a lot of mold on the stems and peppers themselves.

We ordered the 2lb bag in the middle of September. I wasn’t expecting much since I thought the season for the freshest, hottest peppers was nearly over. I was surprised and ecstatic when I received them. They were fresh, the color was beautiful, they were very, very hot and extremely flavorful. I dice them on pizza with chicken, cream cheese, pineapple and olives. I usually use about 10-12 peppers per pizza, which sets the mouth on fire. These did not disappoint. Out of the 2lbs, maybe ten were bad, at most, and those were the very small ones. I will absolutely order again. I only wish they offered an automatic monthly subscription, as we go through them like candy.

Unfortunately, they were delivered to the wrong address so I did not receive them until three days after they were rotten, but the seller did provide a full refund will give another chance

I ordered two pounds and was very pleased with the shipment. Six were badish or going bad and one or two was crushed a bit. NOTHING to keep me from ordering again. Its as if i went to the grocery store and picked them for myself. My grocery store has been out for over 3 weeks. i found a new place to buy my habaneros again. Order on M, TU or Wed. they do not process orders on Thur or Fri. I ordered Wednesday morning and received my order on following Saturday. I live in rural mid southern MO. Fresh and ready for the cooking. Not overly hot each pepper varies a little bit in intensity. good flavor. good color. good buy.

I didn’t like that they came without warning and sat on an ohio porch in December for hours but, no frost damage. I like that they weren’t typical grocery store, watery bland peppers. They were really good. I’ll be getting them again as soon as I run out of these.

I read the reviews and they were all good for the most part. I was a little hesitant to order these. I have never ordered fresh foods before. I ordered them on Friday (Aug 17) and they came today Monday (Aug 20)... I was blown away how beautiful they were. The colors and size. I wanted to get the 2lb bag but tried the 1lb to be safe and needless to say I am going to get the 2lb bag with NO hesitation. The lighting in my pic is bad but I think it gets the point across. I made some hot sauce with them today. The taste is amazing. So fresh and fruity. The heat and flavor is so much more than local store bought. I would recommend to anyone looking to get some fresh habaneros to not hesitate and get these. Well don't buy em all up because I need to get more..

I think I got maybe 4 usable peppers. They were all rotten and ruined. The box was litterally dripping rotten pepper from the box as the mail man brought it to my door. I get thats it's food and expected a few bad ones but this was totally unacceptable. If they cannot get a package of food to your door without it rotting then it should not be on offer. No return policy either so I guess they get to keep my money. To be fair I did buy a 2lb bag of red fresnos from the same people where maybe only 10% were bad. Do not buy. If you live in a state where peppers are hard to find then grow your own or go without.
