Great tool, I used in combo with a heat gun to strip gloss off a stair case. I tried other scrapers but nothing came close to this. I was easily able to remove paint making it easier to sand down after. Would recommend

Pic shows with one treatment on nitromors and a quick clean off with shave hook. Then used to bladed tool on the remainder with good even pressure and use in both directions this is the unhanded finish. Which is basically paint free - so only requires minimal sanding to just smooth over. Which is great as reduces work with the sander and reduces the dust from sanding. Great tool wished I'd bought it sooner. Easily get the remaining paint off with minimal pressure and proper use won't damage softer pine timber.

This scraper is ergonomically designed and solidly made, for a reasonable price. It is supplied with a single, tungsten carbide blade in a separate little box. Unfortunately though, it seems that quality control is non-existent. The threaded hole for the blade fixing screw was hopelessly out of position, meaning it was impossible to fit the blade correctly. The one I received should have gone straight in the scrap bin and never left the factory. Maybe you'll be luckier with the one you receive, and not have to send it straight back like I did. Shame.

Not sure about this tool. Handle is as described being comfortable to use. Unfortunately the blade is way to small for anything but the smallest jobs.

What a brilliant tool. This tool gets into inaccessible places not available to abrasive use. It stays sharp and is easy to use providing a good surface finish. Far superior to regular shave hooks. Highly recommended!
