My kids loved it
So it's for ages 9+ well I had my kids do it (ages 6 and 4) with a little help from me, but mostly them. They enjoyed the building and then running the cars around. It's a good project and I recommend it! Just be prepared to help if your kids are under the recommend age.

Relatively limited little project
I thought this might be a good project for building and possibly designing and rebuilding. The biggest issue have with it is that steering is either all the way left or all the way right, and throttle is all forward or all reverse. This makes the car tend to drift, which is fun, but doesn't really capture the interest of my kid very much. The controllers in a cheap RC car have more function. It's a middle of the road project.

Fun project
This was a super fun summer project for my nephews. The instructions were easy to follow. We love this STEM activity! This is the second time I have purchased one of their products.

Poor steering design, no servo
This car doesn't use a servo, so it can only go left or right after the first time it turns. Straight ahead is not really an option.
