Does this affect the water pressure?

It does affect water pressure, but in our case not enough to stop using it.

will this remove iron and sulfer smell (rotten eggs) ?? well water

Bought mine from lowes. About to order here and yes gets rid of rotten egg smell . I'm on well water. Hard water also improved. Very happy I use these

Does the entire filter itself have to be uninstalled and reinstalled when replacing the cartdridge?

I would assume that you would have easy access to the cartridge by just unscrewing the filter and taking out the old cartridge filter.
