I decided to add a valance to an already-existing window curtain so I needed a double rod of this size. I realized I could either drive to each of the big box stores hoping someone would have it in stock, or check Amazon where I would most likely find it and I did. I have Amazon Prime which meant the rods would arrive in two days. This a slightly heavier, sturdier rod that I would expect since it carries the Levolor name--not the lighter-weight, flimsier generic kind that is often carried by the big box stores. I saved car mileage and gas as well. Win-win!

I bought these for the price because they're in an apt. They are great for what they are, and especially for the price. However, if you have a need for a permanent curtain rod, spend the money on a nicer one.My biggest gripes are these:- curtains easily get caught on the metal joining of both halves of the rod. Opening and closing curtains has to be done delicately to avoid damage to the curtains and the rod.- hanging them is both easy and difficult. While they lock into place easily, hanging them by yourself when there's a curtain on is a pain in the butt!- they can bend. I had one tweak in the middle. Despite being 'heavy duty', they are still fairly thin/hollow. Too much pressure in the wrong place and it'll bend easily.- they unlock easily. Just pulling the curtain open or closed can pop one or both sides out of place.Over all, these curtains are not terrible. Great for apt life, but not reccomemded for a house.

The picture makes it look like you are receiving a 2 1/2 inch rod & a 3 1/2 inch rod. You get two 2 1/2 inch rods with hardware that separates the two. I don't feel like that was explained very well.

Simple device; Inexpensive; Works well. Buy it! Seems sturdy enough. Used for heavy thermal curtains with a layer of sheer curtains.

Fast delivery, good packaging, nice quality and good fit, fair price. What else could you want? I'm using them in the kitchen. I used the deeper one for the valance and the more shallow one on the bottom curtain. You just need the extra hanging device to do this.

Functions just as designed. Fits my non-standard kitchen window well. There's not anything particularly remarkable about them, except that they're for two curtains, but I'd imagine they work just as well as any other set designed for the same. Works better than trying to hang two separately.
