CHECK THE "MATTRESS" INSIDE THE COVER REGULARLY FOR MOLD AND MILDEW!
This was awful. I opened it, let it air out, put the cover on it and put it in his bed. That was maybe 3 months ago. My dog's skin started developing a rash that turned into scaley peeling sores. I changed his diet, I changed my laundry detergent, I vacuumed obsessively, I had washed his bedding several times. And then today I realized I hadn't washed the cover on his "mattress." And this was what I saw when I took the cover off. I was horrified. Obviously I put it in a trash bag as soon as I realized, so that's why all you see is this little bit of one side of it sticking out, but the whole bottom of the mattress was stained and moldy looking, underneath the alleged antimicrobial waterproof cover! I'm about to start shopping for a new mattress. Hopefully I'll have better luck, and hopefully my poor little dog's skin clears up now.

great bed for an aging pup
This is very comfortable and a huge upgrade from the $50 pet store bed my dog previously had (which after 3 years was majorly lumpy and uncomfortable). This seems like it will last much longer. I had trouble getting the right size, however and ended up with a larger bed than she needs. This photo shows my 50-pound lab mix curled up in the corner of the 40"x35"x4" size bed.

Fits perfectly in the crate! But beware the nonstick dots on the cover!
I bought this bed about a month ago because my Chihuahua mix is getting older now, and I also noticed that he was usually trying to stretch out in his older, smaller bed--usually ending up spilling out one or both sides in order to get comfortable. There is plenty of room in his crate and no reason why he couldn't have a bed with a larger surface area, but I didn't want him to be on one of those thin crate pads that don't look comfy at all. This bed fits the exact measurements of his crate for a custom-like fit. I thought maybe Peanut would miss the cushy sides of his old bed, but he doesn't seem to at all. Mostly he lays flat on his side or upright like in the picture. When he does curl up, he's learned he can push his fleece blanket to the side of the crate to give him some cushion against the metal bars. (When he was a puppy, I made him several blankets a few inches bigger than the dimensions of the crate from two pieces of fleece with a simple machine stitch around the edges. I've attached them to the back corners of his crate with two large safety pins. Keeps the blanket in his bed as he comes and goes and roots around under it!) Also, the mattress cover is awesome and washes up like new every time with Peanut's blankets. I haven't seen any of the traction dots falling off or anything. I bought an extra cover the same day as the mattress so I'd have a spare for laundry days and accidents, and they're easy to remove and replace with a long zipper in an L-formation on two of the bottom edges. Pro tip: I had a couple spare pieces of thicker fleece just the right size to cover the top of the mattress. I keep one between the mattress and cover just to catch any additional moisture or loose fur that gets through the cover to keep the mattress perfectly clean and like new. I don't think that's strictly necessary; it just gives me extra peace of mind.Edit January 2019The nonstick dots on the bottom of these covers are flipping *everywhere.* I cannot even tell you how many of these little dots have infiltrated every corner of my house. They're absolutely everywhere! On the days I do laundry, I wash this cover and my dog's other laundry first (normal wash cycle, then tumble dry on low heat), then do two or three loads of clothing, towels, etc. trying to make sure there's plenty of loads to clear out all the stray dots before my roommate does her laundry. After every load comes out of the dryer, I have to carefully empty the dryer lint catcher over the trash can *and* Swiffer the floor in my laundry room to catch all the overspill, and I'm still finding dots in my clean laundry. It's a huge pain. And if I forget and dry these on medium or high heat? Forget it! The stupid things get warm enough to restick themselves to the inside of the dryer, and they do *not* come off. *Sigh.*

Buy it!
Love this bed! My dog LOVES this bed. Really good quality at a fair price. My only complaint, is that I didn't order TWO, because now I have to carry it up and down the stairs everyday because she's sad without it. She's not even sleeping in my bed anymore!...Not sure how I feel about that, I miss my cuddle bug! LolHighly recommend!

Like a cloud for your furry friends
Not all fur babies sleep in their crates or their own beds but if you are reading this, then you probably have one that does. And it's because of they do sleep on their own bedding wouldn't we want the highest comfort for them?Since our pets can't tell us in words how they feel, we have to use our best judgement and careful observation of their response to their environment. Poor bedding would result in stiff joints and possible pain. But creatures of habit may tolerate what is given to them, especially if they are crate trained.Think about it, how comfortable would you be, if you had to sleep on with a hard plastic tray or half inch of foam that offered little to no support. Ouch!If our fur babies are having accidents on their bedding, it becomes both a chore and inconvenience to ruin expensive bedding. Well, if you raised kids, we all been through that and we don't resort to replacing the crib mattress with a plastic drip pan do we? Well, at least I hope not.If kids area having accidents in bed, we simply used some of those blue pee pads you can put under a bed sheet. Since we had some left over from those days, I placed one under the fitted bed cover of this bed just in case. It doesn't affect the feel or softness of the memory foam. Our Lhasa Apso rescue took to his new mattress in his crate the first night and slept pretty much until his morning walk. As a short muzzle breed, just short of snoring, he normally sleeps with some breathing noise. This was the first time I didn't hear anything. I had to double check if he was actually in his crate! So definitely an improvement for his well being in my opinion.PROS: fluffed up fairly quickly, less than 30 mins. Nice zip off cover. Did not give any off gassing like some others have reported. Fit our 18x24 crate snugly as it compresses easily. Better night sleep for everyone!CONS: a little bit tall for smaller crates as most bedding are no more than two inches high. But our dog didn't mind the slight loss of headroom. Don't know if the memory foam is too soft or too firm.OVERALL: recommended bedding. Good value and seems to make a difference in our fur baby's sleep.

Not worth the price, wasnt expecting much but better than what was received.
On first sight it looked ok, then noticed the 2 pieces of foam stuck together did not have netting cover to protect the foam so will wear away more quickly, what was most concerning was the Polyurethane Inflammable warning on the back of label of product just saw it by chance, there should be separate warning. Hope all the foam is up to standard it states the memory foam is on line, no standards regulation on packaging the product comes from China. The cover is very thin there is latex on underside though that wouldn’t make it waterproof. The diameters are not correct the size of large is 101cm x 90 cm, the memory foam is 1 1/2 inches thick so 3 1/2 inches is the thickness. It’s cheap and nasty which I was half expecting took a chance as it had so many good reviews, however it is big enough and deep enough for Boxer, Rottweiler wouldn’t recommend it though defo not worth fraction of the price. Once unpacked would be impossible to return. Absolute tat, better beds half the price on eBay. Won’t be ordering anything that comes from Amazon EU again.

Best mattress and cover!!!!
My puppyoves this bed/mattress in his cage/crate. He often just puts himself in his little den and doesn't with the other one he's got with a designer mattress!!! The cover is waterproof and is lovely and soft and warm. It's very easy to take off and wash as my puppy has the odd accident but I liked it so much, I bought a spare cover. They wash and dry well too and fit perfect without any hassle putting them on or taking off the memory foam mattress. The only thing I would say negative is that the sponge has got a great big ink stain, like a factory thing, rather than a spillage, but it's not seen, so no harm. It fits very tight into a 24" crate, almost perfect!

A REAL HIT WITH THE POOCH
This bed is very comfortable for my one year old staffy. She can stretch out and loves to sunbathe in the garden on it. The foam inside is good quality, with a decent layer of memory foam glued to the top. The cover is a hard wearing towelling fabric, which zips off easily and it washes well on 30C. (My mum's 13 year old dalmation has one too and it has really helped his joints, he isn't as stiff after a good sleep.) The cover is also completely waterproof - I forgot the bed was outside when we had torrential rain and I was convinced the bed would be ruined. I could hardly lift the bed, as the cover had soaked up so much water but, after unzipping the cover, the foam inside was bone dry. Well impressed and money well spent.

Fantastic comfy bed
My 11 year old Tibetan Terrier Harvey absolutely loves this bed. I got it for him as he is getting older and I want him to have a comfy bed. It is perfect and he can spread out on it. It is quality made and wouldn't mind sleeping with him on it myself 😀😀

Great value and great peace of mind.
Really lovely bed. Feels great as and owner to know that it’s actually very comfy and it is real memory foam I suppose to some other beds you can get which you can feel the floor through. It is as described size-wise and comfort-wise, the cover is an accurate colour and very soft. The bed wasn’t made up of scraps of memory foam as some other reviewers suggested/reviewed.Absolutely no issues with this bed and actually very very pleased with it.
