Borax Cone - When mixed with water using the borax dish this forms a flux used during the soldering of gold or silver. The cone of borax is used with the flat bottomed borax dish by adding a little water and rubbing the bottom of the cone in a circular motion in the dish. Works as flux but
I did not enjoy trying to rub the cone into dish for more than 5 minutes to get enough to come off every solder session so ill be going for boric acid next when I finish up this cone.

The dish is not borax!
I would not recommend this. The dish is not borax. This is not the traditional tool for creating flux. It also took one month to ship.
