Mineral Sunblock, No White Cast, Tint Looks Natural & Evens My Tone, Wear Alone or w/ Makeup-Has TEA
Epione Concealer is a Broad Spectrum SPF 30 tinted mineral sunscreen with active Titanium Dioxide (5%) and Zinc Oxide (10%). The tint looks medium out of the container but it’s natural looking even on my light skin. Given the tint, there’s not any issue of getting a white cast. Also, while it’s subtle, the tint does add just enough color to even out my light skin tone and even blends in a small patch of vitiligo on my face. I never tan my face, I can’t say if this is dark enough to hide similar imperfections in those with darker skin. My skin looks glowy and luminous but not greasy at all.I apply Epione after my day cream. It feels lightweight but not totally weightless, similar to liquid makeup. I have dry skin and this feel like it adds additional light moisture. I apply it in circular motions, and it blends easily and is non streaky. I’m in my 50’s and have dry skin, and Epione doesn’t crease or settle into my lines. This is well suited for outdoor activities like going to the beach or for a walk when I don’t tend to wear full makeup. And it has a pleasing creamy texture that works well under my regular makeup I wear on a daily basis as I’m in and out of the sun. I also like using Epione on the back of my hands to prevent further sun damage (which I even get while driving) and help even out my skin tone. This smells odorless to me, and I like that there’s no chemical fragrance on the ingredient list. Epione doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and leaves it feeling calm. This has silicone (which agrees with my skin but doesn’t agree with everyone), but it’s free of alcohol, parabens and sulfates. I like that this has glycerin and butylene glycol for dry skin. I dislike that this has controversial treithalomine (TEA), which gets a moderately risky rating by EWG. At least it’s low on the ingredient list. I’m otherwise really pleased with this barrier (rather than chemical) sunscreen and like how this feels and looks on my skin with or without additional makeup. Love it. 5 stars.Active Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide 5%, Zinc Oxide 10%. Tinted moisturizer w/ SPF 30 created by Celebrity Hollywood Doctor (Lady Gaga, Kardashians etc)
This is tinted moisturizer with SPF 30 level of protection. My skin is very bright and I thought this is little too dark for me but after applying it I realized it’s sheer and ads very little tone. It almost reminds me of a lip balm, it’s perfectly smooth and sheer but looks darker before applying it. I also has a little glossy texture but it doesn’t make my face shiny. SPF30 is sufficient for every day use but if you’re going to expose your face to direct sunlight at the beach etc, it is recommended to combine this with another product. I am not a big fan of this shade and although I can wear it, I would still prefer brighter shade to better match my akin complexion. Maybe they will come up with light-medium-dark option like BB creams. I honestly think this is just that, BB cream with SPF 30. My other bb cream is SPF 15 so this is significantly better.Fun fact: Creator of the brand is Dr. Ourian, famous Hollywood doctor with patients like entire Kardashian family, Lady Gaga and so on. Dr. Simon Ourian invented some of the most popular and commonly used aesthetic procedures (NOT PLASTIC SURGERY) and I admire his work. I think fame is getting factored in a product price here because at $95, I find this concealer (tinted moisturizer) overpriced and see little value for money.

goes on smooth but makes me itchy, warm tinted mineral SPF, minimal to no coverage
In short: I do not care for this "concealer" with SPF. It is a tinted mineral/physical SPF that does little to cover or conceal (not that I need it). While it feels nice, it is only mediocre looking on my skin. Claims to "Help reduce the appearance of rosacea, fine lines & discoloration, while moisturizing.". I rarely have issue with products on my Type 1 rosacea skin (redness, visible veins, otherwise clear and robust), but this is the first time in a long time that I felt a flush. My skin is still red, slightly itchy (even when applied to back of the hand, and forearm!) and actually slightly orange since this tint is a tad dark on fair skin. Feels moisturizing at first, then dries oddly- but smoothly. I have a huge budget for skin care, so my bias against it has nothing to do with $$$. Here are more of my observations that may help you decide:WHAT IS IT??This is a tinted, mineral sunscreen. Basically it is tinted enough to eliminate white cast from titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. It goes on ultra smooth smooth with help from dimethicone. It spreads nicely over prepped skin. By this I mean applied after my usual hydrating toner, serum, and moisturizer, or just after my hydrating toner. For this review, I used it over my hydrating facial spray such as Whal Myung Skin Elixir:(https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07PZ8H6WB) on one side of face, and over the spray plus a moisturizer (amarte) on the other. Both still looked smooth. No pilling, rolling of product. No bizarre settling. Not too shabby.BUT, while it really isnt a concealer, the tint is a tad dark for fair skin. I suspect it will blend seamlessly into light, medium, and dark skin tones-- just not well enough for pale/fair- not without some effort or reducing efficacy (ie; not using enough). Also it is more neutral to warm. My skin is fair and cool. It can disappear but only if I use a small amount. When using sunscreen, I tend to use 1/4-1/3 tsp to cover face. I can not do that with this. Though, it could be used over another sunscreen if I really wanted the tinted aspect. Again, the tint is more for taking away white cast.BUT, WHAT ABOUT THE "CONCEALER"?eh, "Lastly, just to drive the point home.. If I were looking for a "concealer" and decided on this, then I would be disappointed as there really is no concealment or coverage. If I were just looking for a tinted SPF, then this could work so long as I was aware of the tint level. It is going to blend in or disappear on nearly all skin save for fair. Even on my fair skin it does blend mostly away, but the slight tinge of color is not to my liking. I haven't used an Epione product I like yet :(ANY POSITIVES? yes, I can say it goes on smoothly, seems to play well with other products, and it doesnt seem to settle into pore, creases, lines, or exacerbate dry patches. That is a big deal, hence my 3 star rating instead of 2. If they a nourishing tinted SPF/foundation combo in a variety of shades, I would actually consider it.I am a big fan of luxury skin care. Skin care is my hobby. (You may have guessed). I spend money on my hobbies. I never rate on price because we all have different budgets. Well before vine I have purchased skin care well over this price, and some pricey SPF (which is my #1 skin care product btw)- but I have just never come across SPF in this price range. I use la Roche Posay,Farmacy,Shiseido,TatchaMDSolarScience, etc.. and it seems that it is only the "dr" lines that boast this upper echelon pricing. If you already use and like many of the products within the Epione skin care like, I can see adding this in to try out. Why not, right? Attractive packaging and overall feel of container is nice. Clean lines, shiny black body with gold label. And so I have found it unnecessary to bring pricing into my rating. What I do is focus on quality, overall experience, how it measure up to product description. This falls short for me on all metrics.Active Ingredient: Titanium Dioxide 5%, Zinc Oxide 10%Inactive Ingredients: Water, Coconut Alkanes, Octyldodecyl Neopentanoate, Butylene Glycol, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Polysorbate 60, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerine, polysorbate 60, Polyacrylamide, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Stearic Acid, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Alumina, Xanthan Gum, Laureth-7, Triethanolamine, Iron Oxide (CI 77499, CI 77491, CI 77492).

orange over priced mess
Dr. Ourian is a very well known plastic surgeon and you may have seen his work all over Hollywood. So when picking up this "concealer" I had high hopes. Unfortunately it's just another name slapped on an overpriced product. The spf is fairly low (50 should be standard), the product was orange, streaky, and started pilling up all over my face when trying to rub it in to tone the orange down. I think this is meant to be a "tinted moisturizer" but was mislabeled and just all around a really bad disaster of a product.
