The blades seem fine, but probably only useful for very delicate projects like 1/8" wood panels. Unfortunately, these did not work for my WEN scroll saw, as the allen-screw clamps just didn't hold this blade tightly enough to tension the arm without these popping loose from one side or the other instantly. Not really the blades' fault, but since I didn't get a chance to actually use them, I can't give a fair rating for their function. Just a warning that you need to be sure your scroll saw can hold a pinless blade securely in order to make use of these!

Olson Saw SP46300 Spiral Scroll Saw Blade ...
I used these spiral blades on hard wood. They were aggressive in cutting the hard wood that I was using but they never broke. I made some name plates for some of my family and they came out beautiful. I did have to sand them because of the rough cut ( saw dust). I was able to guide the spiral blades fairly easily and that made my project a lot easier and more rewarding. This was the first time I used spiral blades for some of my projects. I do like them but they do kick up saw dust and they leave rough edges. You will have to sand your work piece. These blades are great for working on projects that have letters or numbers.

What the heck?
I spent 1/2 hour trying to insert a new Flying Dutchman metal cutting blade into my Delta scroll saw only to figure out that they shipped me one in the bundle that was 1/2" shorter than the rest. My luck wasn't with me in that only one was too short and I picked it first. Otherwise they cut the copper intended to be cut perfectly.......better than expected!!!

First time problem with order, been ordering for several years, never had a problem before.
Didn’t get the right number, I ordered #4, received #2. But I made it work.

There is no teacher like experience.
These worked well on thin stock. I was trying to use hem on 2" stock and that was asking too much. I will get a thicker one to use on the two inch stock. There is no teacher like experience.

Highly recommend! But not for straight cuts!
Very strong!

Excellent 360 degree scrollsaw blades.
Good performance on 1/4-3/8" plywood. Some rounding of the corners as expected from 360 deg blades, but nothing unexpected. Blade life is acceptable unless you attempt to over-tighten them on the saw.

Excellent blades. They work well
Excellent blades. They work well, 2 broke so far after using them about an hour each of cutting through 3/8" MDF.

Different to normal blades
Spiral cut is a different experience to normal blades. You can cut just by moving the workpiece in the correct direction- no need to rotate it. Not everyone likes this, but I certainly do! If you use a scroll saw and have not used spiral blades, give it a go- I recommend them. Much easier to fit too- no fiddling to get the teeth facing forward.

The spiral saw blade cuts in all directions
New to scroll sawing I followed the advise of other users and books. Olson blades are great quality I find and I am glad that they were recommended. The spiral saw blade cuts in all directions and is fantastic at cutting any radius corner. As a new user I did find them hard to control and it will take much practise. But being able to cut without having to rotate the piece of ply I was cutting was a great advantage. The rear face of the play was a little rough but acceptable.

A blade that goes where others can’t !
Spiral blades are always a little difficult to attach to the clamp because they don’t have a clearly defined end plate. They also make a slightly wider & less smooth cut than regular blades. However there are some scroll saw jobs that only they can do easily. It’s when doing these fiddly jobs that I find them to be most useful. Excellent to have on standby 👍

What a great idea!
What a great idea! no need to turn your work piece to change direction, this is truly a great asset to any scroll saw tool box. I bought two packets and that is a total of twenty blades, there are ten per pack so only 50p each. I am very new to scroll saws and this is proving to make life much easier.

Spiral fret saw blade
I found it impossible to fit these onto my machine, I've not long had the fret saw machine, so maybe I was not doing it properly, but I gave up after about five attempts
