I bought this heater to use in my motorhome as it is 'low energy' and other heaters (that I used to use in the static caravan) were consuming too much power even when I was hooked up to the 240 supply. This one appears to be ok and is not putting too much strain on my leisure battery which is 'in circuit' between my 240 supply and the plug sockets even when the heater is on the highest setting (1200 watts) although you have to be careful in a motorhome not to have too many appliances running at the same time i.e. kettle + toaster + heater + hairdryer etc. But running the heater while watching a 'low energy' TV is fine. On the heater there is also a 600w setting which is useful if you ever need to run one other appliance at the same time. It will heat up the inside of the motorhome no problem, but is more effective on the 1200w setting as the 600w setting will probably just heat up the area where the heater is (i.e kitchen or rear lounge) but I suppose it depends on how long you leave it running and on how cold it is outside. On the whole it is very good and has solved my heating/power consumption issues.

I bought this heater in order to cut down on heating costs, and I’m very happy with it. In spite of its small size, it is remarkably efficient. It heats up very quickly. At the moment, I have no other heating on in my apartment and the outside temperature is around 10 celsius, so the temperature in my bedroom averages about 15 Celsius when I wake up. This heater will bring the temperature up to 18 degrees within about half an hour. Within an hour, it is up to 20 degrees. Once it is at a comfortable temperature for me, I turn it down from the 1200kw setting to the 600kw setting and it maintains an even temperature. I’m not sure how efficient it will be as outside temperatures get lower, but I am really impressed with how quickly it heats the room, and it would certainly provide very useful supplementary heating at colder temperatures, allowing thermostats on central heating to be turned down. During the day, I find that its light weight and small size make it very easy to move around to whichever room I happen to be in. I have had this heater for about a week and I think it is very good value for money. It appears to be well made and very safe. The cord is about 2 metres long and it has a silicone carrying handle. It can stand on the floor, on a table or on a counter top. When you turn it off, the fan continues to run for about 30 seconds as it cools down. This is NOT a fault in the machine!

Item is overpriced but does what it says .Down side delivered and left in the rain when delivery instructions are clear to leave it in the porch …. Amazon delivery is getting worse always dhp that have an issue reading instructions….

Price as compare to value

I needed a little portable heater as my office has a large window and gets chilly in the winter mornings. This little powerful heater now sits under my desk and after a short 5 minute blast really takes the chill off the morning. I have also used it in my garden shed for a quick blast of heat to take the edge off on a cold afternoon and it worked a treat in there too. Its easy to use, packs a powerful punch and looks funky too. It kind of looks like a speaker with its design and handle so you don't mind having it out in the room as it doesn't look too old fashioned. The controls are a doddle to use and I'm delighted with my purchase. Highly recommend.
