Dorman 603-039 Front Coolant And Washer Fluid Reservoir with Cap Assembly Compatible with Select Chevrolet / GMC Models

This came with 2 pump motors on it. One is for a back window washer that I did not have. I did have a wiring harness for both with different type plugs. You must cap the output of the non used motor or it will leak fluid. It comes with a new front wiper hose feed and also comes with a new hose to go to the radiator for the overflow also. It does not come with the 2 rubber feet that slip onto the bottom as a cushion and it does not come with the two plastic pop attachments that hold the 2 bottles to the top frame. This seems as strong and well made as the original. Comes with new caps. The pump on the front of this, facing the front of the vehicle is the front washer pump. I recommend using electrical contact grease. You may want to clean the chassis ground wire connection near the front of where the bottles sit.

Exact Same in every aspect as the original reservoir on my 2003 Chevrolet Astro Van. The reservoir is made of heavy duty plastic. The hose connections, electrical wiring connections, mounting holes up top and mounting nipples at the bottom are an exact match. (Note: remove and reinstall the black rubber sleeves from the old reservoir onto the bottom Mounting nipples of the new reservoir). This reservoir comes with the windshield washer fluid pump as well as the washer fluid pump for the rear hatch window. It was easy to install, 30 minutes total to remove the old reservoir, and install, fill and test this new reservoir. The reservoir arrived on the date promised and came very well packaged. Installed on 97 Astro van. Came with 2 pumps (Front and rear) pre-installed on the windshield washer tank which is a plus. I thought I would have to re-use the old ones. No bottom grommets so be sure to remove the ones from the old tank and re-use those. Radiator connector hose was included and of good quality dense rubber. There is no clamp for the radiator connector hose at the radiator cap so expect that. This kit also included some clear replacement tubing, but they were really small diameter, like a fish tank pump would use. Dunno what that was for but definitely not to replace the washer tubing as mine were a bit larger. You can re-use the existing tubing, but I replaced both of mine with some tubing I had in stock.

Worked perfectly but what I didn’t know was there’s another pump on the backside of this unit which doesn’t apply to my truck

It is a great replacement for the the original, which cracked at the top where it attaches to the front crossbeam before the clips, after 17 years. Direct OE fitment. Be sure to take off the rubber bumpers and hose from the old reservior. Also be careful taking the old one out beong mindful of the electrical connectors to the window washer pumps, L. Side and back. Also make sure that the winshield washer fluid hoses are hooked up to the corresponding pumps, windshield and rear window repectively. Videos are available online. It might help to empty the old one first before removing(Syphon or pump out).

Great replacement part complete with washer pumps. Easy to install and very durable.
