Surprisingly good as original - not sure if it's just a tad sweeter.
We did taste tests with this and original Aperol at the same time and long term drinkers didn't notice much difference other than a slight sweetness, but seeing as how we ran out of prosecco and cava and used Lambrini instead, it could have been that causing the sweetness - oh and Lambrini works brilliantly as the fizzy extra. Bella Apertini is the same alcohol content as original so is a bargain.

Great and cheaper alternative to Aperol, tastes like the real deal but at a much reduced price. Perfect for summer evenings

As good as big named brands
Good taste, reasonable price. Great for cocktails such as Aperol Spritz.

Really nice. Pleasantly bitter. Very good value at £8.

Beware, this product has been review-bombed. A real review here!
If like me, you were drawn in by the tens of effusive reviews that proclaimed "It's just like the MAIN BRAND, I can't tell the difference!" then gentle reader, you might too be tempted to give "Bella Apertini" a whirl. Please allow me to be your ghost of christmas future. The warning signs were there when I opened the box to find some of the liquid had leaked. Fearing a cracked bottle, I wiped it down, but no it was the tin around the top that wasn't properly moulded. Not a deal breaker - I was in for a budget Ap*rol, and maybe that's the cost?Unfortunately it's not. The resemblence stops at the colour. Forward on the nose when opening the bottle and drinking it is an aroma and taste I can only put close to burned plastic. There is a bit of citrus, then a lot of heat as the cheap alcohol takes over. It tastes like someone photocopied Aper*l and then asked you to eat the photocopy. It's £7. You get what you pay for. In this case, heartburn with a basenote of regret. Stick to the (to be fair, pretty affordable) branded alternative.
