Rubber watch strap
100 % love this watch but just genuinely speaking why don't they on all rubber strap watches have the overlay of the strap instead of a hoop to keep it tucked in why not have it so the overlay is tucked underneath so it between your wrist and strap. Because it's rubber it clings to almost everything it always unbuckles from hoop which is annoyingKind RegardsOrrett Edwards

Brilliant watch!
First if all I just want to say...I love this watch! I rarely write reviews, so my writing this speaks for itself. It looks great, is light weight and comfortable on the arm. Out of the box, my battery was showing a Medium charge. After about 10 days it showed a High charge, which is where's it been ever since despite me fiddling regularly with all the functions and "testing" the Auto-light, which I'm impressed with. I thought long and hard about whether it was worth my while buying it as I've had a Casio Illuminator for many years which has barometer, altitude and temperature functions, but I'm glad I did. My Illuminator doesn't have a compass, but the ProTrek does. The barometer function on the ProTrek includes many more options than on my Illuminator, including graphical display of pressure change readings over time, sudden pressure change warning symbols and alarm. Altitude readings include option to display and record altitude change. The compass is much better than I thought it would be, with typical pointer readings (the second hand becomes the pointer) and digital readout too. All very useful for when I'm hill/mountain walking. Some reviews on here say this watch is not easy to use or make changes when you need to, but I've found it very intuitive and easy to understand. To make some changes or access some options you have to unscrew and pull out the larger button on the righthand side of the watch, which then enables you to make changes or access other options...it is intuitive in the sense the watch recognises which function you are on and provides you with the options or choices for that function. One button (lower left of the watch) to choose the function you want and then use the larger button to make changes or access other options for that function. The hands move out of the way so they don't get in the way of the readings then move back...very clever! I have my Auto-light on so when its dim/dark the light comes on automatically (option in settings for 1 or 3 seconds) when I tilt my wrist to look at it, and it resets very quickly so you can look at it again and again in quick succession if you want to. In the time/date mode there are three toggle options: (1) day and date, (2) barometric pressure change graph and date, (3) time in digital format. I can only think of one downside and I feel like I'm being picky by mentioning it...to maintain water resistance, the larger button on the right of the watch needs to be screwed in so I wouldn't want to make any changes "in the field" in the open in wet weather, which seems a bit odd considering it's a trekking watch. I certainly wouldn't let that put me off speaking highly about it though. Am I glad I bought it? YES

Best work watch I’ve ever bought. It has everything I needed without being smart. You will not be disappointed.
