Great product and protection for your note 8. I personally had a Otterbox Defender & Alpha Glass (since their product no longer comes with a built in screen protector). I paid @ $120.00 (S&H) for both and they were garbage. So much happier with POETIC REVOLUTION. I can feel a huge difference in quality and protection. The Poetic is way better built, priced, and it comes with a 3 year warranty, instead of 1 year.For any that are debating cases, I would highly recommend this one. As I type this I can feel a huge difference in the responsiveness of this screen protector vs the Alpha Glass. I was having to damn near stab my finger through the screen to touch what I wanted. Now with this built in one, I'm barely having to tap, almost as if nothing is there.My only problem with this case is that the S Pen is hard to get to if you have big fingers and no finger nails, like me... Other than that the rest of the case is quite exceptional.

This is the MOST protective case I have seen, in terms of covering the front edges of the screen with raised edges. top and bottom lips are huge and side to side edges are tad bit raised over the screen. the case is pretty thick and substantial. musch more robust and bouncy than others.I recommend taking off the inbuilt screen cover (it's attached to the front part of the frame via soft adhesive) and using it that way with a FULL SCREEN wet application screen protector like iqshield or something along the lines. I've done just that and the fit is perfect, you get the perfect responsiveness of the screen protector and the amazing protection of the case this way.

Great phone case for those who don't like bulky cases. I had the same Poetic case on my previous LG and loved it, which is why I bought the same one for my new Note 8. I always punch out the screen protector and clean the glue residue before installing it on my phones. I've dropped both, my LG and Samsung on the floor several times and this case has protected them from any cracks or scratches. I highly recommend it.EDIT: I've had this case for a year now and have dropped my phone many times since buying it and it has no damage to it whatsoever. I've dropped it from as high as 3-4 ft. flat on it's face and just when I think I finally broke it, I turn it around to find it completely fine.

I have used similar case from Poetic in the past that covers the entire phone (ie includes the screen protector) which worked well so I decided to buy this one for my note. I have to say, I feel that this particular case is not as well build as some other cases from Poetic. the overall build on the case is okay. I did notice a few places where there is tiny plastic where if I run my finger through I can feel it sticking out a little bit. Because of the slight angular design on the back (which I think maybe to offer better grasp), if I hold the phone at certain angle, I can feel the edge of the case which can be a bit uncomfortable. The power button and volume button is a bit stiff but I like it that way as they are very responsive and eventually will loosen up after a while of use. The same goes with the port covers. I do like the slightly raised chin on the top and the bottom of the case and while the case probably do not need it because of the included screen protector, it helps to avoid having the screen directly facing any surface when it is placed with screen facing down. The screen protector also covers the entire front screen except the essential openings for camera, speaker, sensors, which is a plus. I do feel that the S-Pen opening can be a bit bigger because I have a bit hard time getting the pen out. I always have to use my finger to pull the pen out because when the pen is ejected it is too recessed into the case that the opening is a bit too small for your finger to grab the little hook on the back of the pen to pull it out or push it into the slot.Installation and removing the case is a bit harder than what I thought from my past experience. I think this is partially due to the fact of the raised chin. Though, I believe it is also partially due to the stiff plastic of the case and also (at least for my case) that the case is not completely flushed with the phone. The case is just a tad bigger as once it is fully installed, you can feel that it is not completely wrapping the phone as if I squeeze the corner, I can hear a bit of creak. Also, tapping on the screen, there is more noticeable sense of the air space between the screen protector and the glass and more plasticy feeling that was not as pronounced on other Poetic case I have used.The screen protector is probably one of the biggest issue with the case. While plastic screen protector often does not work too well and I already know this from previous experience. For the most part, the one on the case is fine. However, this case’s touch sensitivity is more affected than other Poetic case I have used where I had to press a bit harder or sometimes had to tap it twice. Using S-Pen is not a problem but with finger for quick typing, it can get a bit frustrated.I am not sure if my issue with this case is just my particular one that maybe slightly defective. Though I do wish the case can just be a little bit better to the standard that I have used from my previous Poetic case. For $13, it is certainly not a bad case for those who want a full covered case. I just want to give my thoughts to help others who are shopping for a case for their note 8.

Good case, tight fitting, does make the phone considerable larger but with that comes better protection. My only complaint is the screen protector is made out of a very inferior plastic and scratches and dulls quickly.

Poetics cases?I am a Otterbox advocate and loyal customer. I've love to draw on my Samsung Galaxy Notes and IPads. I never felt any decrease sensitivity on any of the Poetic cases. The Notes, in particular, with their 4,000 plus levels of pressure sensitivity.Well, things not always perform as well I they look but I am a firm believer in competition. Poetic came to the rescue when the rubberized edge on my beautiful Ottercase started to crumble.They look and feel fantastic, I still don't know how well they'll perform on that department, meaning, the writing/artistic side, but if you know what I mean, these cases are almost a perfect fit. I don't see any bubbles under the glass.

This case is awesome. It feels really good in your hands, the phone feels secure and it's not bulky nor does it add too much weight to the phone. I've read reviews complaining that the screen protector doesn't lay flat on the phone; common sense should allow you to figure out that this is not a sticky film layer that's going to stick to your screen like a regular screen protector. That compliant is a mute point. The case is great, the screen protector works great and serves the purpose of protecting the screen, it lays flat on the phone it's just not stuck to the phone ..... hope this helps!
