SmartWool Men's PhD Cycle Ultra Light Mini Socks

Well, I really like these socks. All of the ultra light mini socks. I do wear these in my cycling shoes, but also in my hiking shoes and casual shoes. The material is thin, and feels good on your feet, and they don't stink if your feet sweat. The socks are very ergonomically "foot shaped," so there aren't any weird seams or bunched up corners. (the Darn Tough socks are similar.) One of the things I like about these is they come in a lot of different colors so I can keep the pairs together for more even wearing.If you're curious about what size to get, I wear a size 12, and I fit the extra large. The extra large fits very snug, so I don't know what to tell you if you have even larger feet. Anyway, if your size is near the top end of the range, I would recommend you go a size up.I've had some for over a year, and they're still going strong. If you have any trouble with them pilling, I would say don't wash them with towels and/or turn them inside out. I don't wash mine with towels and haven't had any problems.

If you're between sized, by the larger size. I'm a 12 and bought the large. Should have bought the XL. They fit snug. They are fantastic socks!

I have another (many year older) pair of SmartWool cycling socks that I've finally worn thin, so I figured I'd try another. These are good socks, and I have no bunching in the toes, no issues with seams, etc. They work well with my somewhat-too-small road shoes, and feel just right in my newer shoes. I'll probably pick up a couple more pairs after I test them for a few hundred more miles.

I have owned many pair of smart wool socks and find them to be as excellent value. One of these socks developed a small hole after only two wears. My wife made a small mend but when I put them on for the third time, a large run developed in another area. The fabric in thee socks just appears to be faulty and it looks like I am to later for a return or a replacement. These were delivered on April 28, 2018. They fit well. They size is what they say it is. They seem durable so far. They don’t seem to wick moisture as well as my other smartwool socks.

These socks are perfect for men or women. I love them for spring and fall cycling because they are not a bulky wool. They keep my feet warm and dry and don’t bind anywhere.

Good fit and breathable, but I developed a small hole after just 1 wearing; it's on the side of my big toe. I really wanted these to be good because they look nice and are comfortable.

Hiked and biked all over Bryce, Grand Canyon, and Zion National Park and the socks were great.
