I needed to make my Rad Expand handlebars taller than stock to fit my 6’- 1” body. This stem is perfect. It’s just the right height and forward position, beefy and not too expensive.

The previous riser system I tried was too flexible, and I was afraid it put stress on the front fork post. This product raises the handlebars without using the post rings and is much more secure and stable.

This stem is a back saver! I needed to raise my position up and the was the perfect solution. Because of its 45 degree rise it also moves you back onto your saddle more. The stem is very robustly built which is very confidence inspiring.A great product, I would buy this again for sure.

This stem does the job at raising my handlebars. It is large and heavy but seems like good quality - time will tell. Chunky is a good descriptor other reviewers have used. Note the connection to the header tube is long and I removed a riser for a safe fit. I also tried a fomtor uno 35 degree 70mm stem and it was much more compact but too short. I couldn't tell the 10 degree difference so you might consider the uno stem in 90 mm or 110mm if you want something lighter.

Good things about the stem:I needed a stem to make my wife's bike more upright. Obviously, the size and angle achieve that goal and put the handlebars higher and closer to her. For that, it works great and judging by the weight alone, it seems strong enough to handle day-to-day use.I didn't want to spend a bunch of money and this stem is cheap, which is good.Bad things:The stem doesn't fit very well. The handlebar seems secure, but the fork steerer tube clamp bolts have to be tightened much more than normal to make it grip the fork steerer tube. When I did this, it seemed to draw or move a bit, which makes the tension on the headset bearings change. It took a fair bit of fiddling to get everything right.All in all - you get what you pay for. It's an ok product, and if that's what you are looking for, and willing to pay for, this is your stem. If you want a precision component - look elsewhere.

Exactly what I needed to raise the handlebars up an inch.

I have a bad shoulder and my mountain bike was painful to ride. I wanted to raise the handle bar up slightly to relieve the stress on the shoulder. This stem did just that. Quick and easy to install. Well made. Raised the handle bars about 2-3 inches putting my body more upright. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their casual rides.
