I wanted to wait until I had this for awhile before I wrote a review. I purchased it because I wanted shelving that would be easy to assemble, and easy to roll around. This was neither. I've successfully put together many other shelving units over the years so it's not me. The instructions are not clear. Although you can vary how far the shelves are placed apart, the markings are difficult to see so the shelves are equally spaced on each leg. Makes a huge difference because if they're not it isn't square causing the whole unit to tilt badly.. I would not be defeated so I took it apart and put it together again many times. The parts that secure the shelves are tiny, slip out of your hands easily and roll around on the floor so you're chasing them. I tried putting it together both standing up, and laying it across a table. Neither was easier. I finally resorted to counting the spacing markings, plus taped each in place to hold them so they don't slip down I won't be changing the spacing anytime soon. It is rickety, anytime I try to move it it creaks and leans as if it may fall apart at any minute. Too much of a hassle to try to move so I just mostly leave it in place. I bought it because I wanted something that was tall enough to easily see what was on the shelves while standing, or sitting, plus shelving that were "baskets" so nothing would fall out. You can't always tell the height from looking at the pictures. It does serve that purpose and too much hassle to return so I'm going to keep it. But I'm not happy with it. I have books on the lowest shelf to try to balance it. Going to purchase another unit that will be lower, but easier to move around. if anyone is interested, I'm only storing lightweight things, sewing supplies like scissors so I'm not overloading it. A very much less than satisfactory purchase.

This is not something that you would want to use in a visible spot in your home. It's basically dull and more pewter like in color. The wheels are a joke and don't really work well at all. I haven't put anything on the shelves since I am trying to decide where to put this thing. It feels and looks flimsy. No doubt about that. Maybe it's stronger than it looks. However, since it doesn't roll well... goes a foot or so and then the wheels seize... I can't imagine putting a lot on it and counting on it to roll. I have wood floors and ended up just dragging it after a couple of feet (if that). Going to keep looking for something to replace this buy. It's not worth taking apart, re-boxing and sending back. Definitely going to scour the garage for different wheels. I may move it out to the shed and take off those wheels. It's really just okay.

This is a great rack. The 4 is because the inside of the baskets is less than 12" The description said 13 3/8"x 13 3/8. I was needing it for 12 x 12 cardstock pads. The poles go up inside the corners and the bottoms of the baskets are curved, not straight. Still a winner. Of course, I found other things to go in it!

The clips that hold the shelves up don't snap together like they should. They can't because they are not quite big enough to go around the poles. The unit is not very sturdy and the wheels don't roll very well. I'm going to keep it but it will only be used for very light items and I won't move it around very much. I would not buy another. Other brands I have purchased in the past were much sturdier. The 3 stars for ease of assembly could have been higher but the fact that the black clips didn't quite make it around the poles to lock made it somewhat frustrating when assembling.

This was a fiasco. After over an hour of trying to assemble this I found I couldn't due to several missing parts. What a waste of time.

It is as described. Just not super sturdy or useful. I'd return it if I thought Amazon would allow it... but I will use it to store stuff instead.

Great for storage for that hide=away nook that before was wasted space.

I use it in the laundry room and it frees up counter space from detergent, fabric softener, bleach, and other knick-knacks and clutter.
