seems to work well
I have no way of independently determining whether this tool is accurate, but I think it might be pretty good. I tested it on two separate cars. Car1 had just recently had a thorough brake bleeding and fluid refill. Car2 had a brake bleeding and fluid refill about 11 months ago. Car1 showed 0% water content and Car 2 showed between 0 and 1%. The fluid I use is Valvoline DOT 3/4. Based on this amateur test, I would endorse this tool.

How to use instructions
How to use:Switch onSelect fluid #1 thru #8.Insert probes in liquidRead the results.Wait 30 seconds for the tester to shut itself off. There is no way to turn off other than wait.If you want to sample two fluids, you must wait for the tester to time out before you can test again. It appears to actually read something because I got different readings from two different fluid sources.Guessing here

Useful,very easy to use.
It has a lot of lights ,but once find out what means each,it's very easy to use.in the past I bought another that last only one test (one day)it started to desintegrate, this one seem to be better, and I hope last more than the former.

Good tester, plastic cap not so good.
The brake fluid tester works very well and easily picked up on moisture in the brake fluid I tested it on. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is that the cap used to protect the probes while it's not in use began to crack in multiple places after just one day. I used a solder gun to melt the area around the cracks to stop them from spreading.

Does not work
I purchased two of these brake fluid testers for our 30 bay service center. Both of them only measure at 1% whether you dip them in brake fluid, water, on metal, in coffee... does not matter... it does not work. I would suggest going to the test strips because those do work.
