When I initially took the wig out the packaging, I wasn't impressed. However, once I put it on and styled it, I was completely satisfied. This wig can be styled in many ways, as I learned that once I got to the party. My girlfriends and I all had the same wig, but styled it differently ... you wouldn't have known it was the same wig.Con: The wig doesn't fit really snug so I was really cautious to not get to active. At one point during the party, my girlfriend had to signal me to fix it as it slipping more toward the back ... not to the point of embarassment but my hairline was showing slightly.Other than that, the wig was perfect for the price and purpose. I would recommend.

Even though it's a wig, I thought it would be a little less noticeable that it was a wig. The synthetic material made it look more plastic than a wig.

I purchased this wig for an Uhura outfit and it turned out great. I got tons of compliments at the Sci-fi party i attended. The wig is very shiny which is my only complaint. The wig was comfortable and lasted all night. I do recommend getting a wig cap which helped it sit closer to my head and stay on all night. I used bobby pins to add an extra hump in the front to be more authentic to Uhura's hairstyle.

If you've got a bigger-ish head or generally fluffy hair, you might want to consider buying extra wefts to cover the back of your head. It will cover the whole head if you don't mind the bangs being SUPER high up on your forehead. Other than that, It's just as pictured and otherwise easy to wear. It does kind of shed some so you'll have to be careful, but I think it's a pretty rad wig for the price.

What a fun wig! Worked perfectly for my Motown party costume. I did use hairspray to fix it into the look I wanted: bangs to the side, curls on the cheeks, and poofy in back. (Note that there was a little hair loss as I was styling. So you can't really comb or brush it. You need to use your fingers to style.) It was a little large on me so I bobby pinned it and put a barrette to tighten the cap at the bottom back. Worked like a charm and stayed in place all night. Can't beat the price for the look. People I've known for years didn't recognize me. :-)

I used this wig in a Supremes skit for my high school reunion. It seemed to be great quality for the price. I had to dress into my outfit, jewelry, and wig in under 10 minutes, and this wig was great! It fit well from minute one and stayed in place the whole time (I had a wig cap underneath) and didn't need any adjustments. In fact, you DON'T want to mess with it because it is all set and ready to wear, fiddling excessively or combing it will get it all unkempt and straggly. Close-up under bright lights it was glossier than normal hair, but in use under normal lighting from a normal distance it actually looked pretty real.

I bought this wig for an Uhura Star Trek costume and I was able to cut and style it to get it pretty close to looking like her hair. It's a little unruly, but that's to be expected with a costume wig. But its a good wig for the price. It's nice and thick all around. There are no spots where the netting shows through. It can be brushed with minimal shedding.

The wig looks nice, but it doesn't completely fit over my head. The cap part kinda does, but the hair of the wig doesn't hang down enough in the back. Also, the bangs are REALLY long in the front. I'm afraid to cut them, but I may pin them to the side.
