Matched 25 year old cabinets
I was surprised when the package showed up two days earlier than expected. This was great 'cause I was eager to get going on my project. Color matches some 25 year old kitchen cabinets that I want to refinish. I got the builders original order and knew the color from the spec sheet. 25 years and no fading or yellowing. My project will go faster than originally planned.

Not a Tung Oil Stain
Despite the product description “Tung oil-based penetrating stain with oil pigment colorants. It combines the beauty of a hand rubbed oil finish. . “ the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet discloses the stain is 70% mineral spirits. It has a strong odor of paint thinner and no consistency of Tung Oil. It dries to a flat finish and not the hard finish of Tung Oil. Thankfully I did a test and didn’t ruin my expensive project. The Seller did issue a prompt refund including shipping.

I started using DALY products 36 years ago, and began with the Teak Stain and Pro-Fin
The Product is great and solidifies into a great natural finish. The whole interior of our house (constructed september 1986) I finished inside myself. All natural solid red oak trim, finished with the Pro-Fin product. The Teak Stain was used where wanted, but the Pro-Fin product is what made the final grade. As most finishers know, oak bleeds. LarryO beat the odds. 36 years later the finish is great, ...no odd yellow colors, as "Varathane" will eventually give you. No discredit to "Varathane", I use it a lot also. Why do I say all this?Where can I find the Daly Pro-Fin and and Daly Stain today. I still need to follow up on my finishes. I am going to live here until I am 150.
