Rustic looking Paint
If you want to turn your dressers or chests into a vintage piece of furniture this is the way to go. It dries very quick and looks great! It has a chalky feel and might not be as durable as acrylic or oil based paints.

Color and consistency. UPDATE below comment.
Loved how thick this product is. Only took 2 coats for me to update the look of my chairs. I placed another order to finish the 3 remaining chairs. Before and after. I’m very happy.UPDATE- I purchased this same exact paint again to finish my last 3 remaining chairs. I don’t know what was wrong with this order but the paint was thinner and didn’t cover well. The first purchase I did three chairs and three barstools. This last purchase didn’t even cover the three remaining chairs. . I now have to find a paint that will look similar enough to finish. 😕

Fantastic paint!
As a furniture flipper, this paint is a furniture painter’s dream! Gorgeous color, dries super fast to a velvet finish with no sign of brush marks. Yes, it’s thick but that’s the beauty of it because when mixed with a little bit of water, you’re in control of the consistency of the paint, and after using it to paint 6 chairs, I’ve barely used any at all. I’ve used Annie Sloan for years, but this paint - a true chalk paint - is the only paint that comes close to the texture of Annie Sloan. This paint is not a mineral “chalk” paint. I don’t know about y’all, but $27 a can compared to $45 a can, well sign me up. I only wish this paint line would make more colors! I’ve read reviews that the lid is hard to take off, but that’s what paint can openers are for 😚

Beautiful muted color
I used this to paint the top and trim of a large white baby dresser in my daughter’s nursery. The paint went on easily and smoothly with a brush.

Quality paint; color was not as pictured.
The paint is a good quality, but the blue color is not as pictured. It is a bit "brighter" than pictured. I did use chalk paint wax in an antique color over it; however, the color is still not the depth of blue that I had desired. I am realistic, though, and know that ordering paint online would make it hard to get the exact color desired.

Transformation
I love this product had a wood project to uplift some ugly looking furniture. After lightly sanding the furniture and used the paint it made a beautiful transformation

Worst chalk paint ever
If I could give this zero stars I would. For over twenty years, I’ve painted walls and furniture. I’ve been using chalk paint for the last four years. I like to try new brands, so I thought I’d try this one. First problem, the lid absolutely will not come off. I finally cut it off with trauma shears. Second problem is that it is very watery. The van says the paint may need to be watered down. That’s a joke. It drips. It runs. It is nothing like the thickness of other chalk paints. It’s going to take three or four coats to cover what one or two will with other paints. I’m extremely disappointed and I cannot understand how other reviews are so positive. Don’t buy this.

update to a previous review
I originally complained about the product being shipped without the lid being completely sealed and what a mess it was when I opened it. I did not ask for any compensation as I felt there probably was enough paint still in the can to finish my project. The company immediately replied to my review and sent me a refund even though I did not ask for one. Thank you! I would highly recommend the Venier Company to anyone in need of vintage paint for a home project.Tom Wells
