Makita 195253-5 Crown Molding Stopper Set for LS1216L Miter Saw

My gripe is more with the design of the holes these are supposed to be placed in on the 36v front rail 10" slide miter. If you turn the table past 32° you run into the stops and need to remove them. The directions say that you need to take it out and put it in the other hole located bear the tongue, but the tounge is much higher then the lower table. So these would not work in the above tounge holes as the directions claim they would. I'm actually going to carve out the part of the tounge that holds me off the rotation of tje base because these are actually pretty important to me and those wings on the end of the tounge are totally ancillary but I'm not excited to cut my saw even if it's something not useful. Poor design and a design they should have considered
