Great Product!!
I have had to switch my dog's diet to one containing 'no glutens', 'corn', 'sugar', etc. due to a condition diagnosed as an "auto-immune" disorder resulting in Candida Yeast Infection on her skin. She loved this food right off the bat and just in the short time feeding it to her (along with other treatments that include frequent bathes, baking soda, Listerine (gold only) and a solution of water, peroxide & white vinegar) she's showing signs of improvement. Her condition did not occur until she was nearly 8 years old and she's now almost 9. Vets tend to go for the prednisone and antibiotics right off the bat... believe me, that's temporary. I know first hand. That is NOT the fix. You have to balance the toxicity levels of their system. This food fits the bill to a "T" when it comes to her diet and regulating her toxin levels. There's much, much more I could say (I'll spare you) but, bottom-line is, I attribute a great deal of her improvement to the new diet and, in particular, this particular product. She loves it!!! Would recommend you take a serious look at what is in most commercial, processed dog foods (canned and dry). You'll switch once you've looked closely and I definitely recommend trying Nutrisca if you value your pet's health and well-being.

Very good grain free dog food
I have a Welsh Corgi who started having a reaction to the regular Whole Foods brand dog food. Upon further research and vet recommendation I decided to switch his food to a grain free recipe. I did a lot of research and settled on Nutrisca. I bought the first few bags at Whole Foods, but they only have the 4lb. So after a few bags of the smaller size I decided he was having a good reaction to this brand and grabbed the larger size. The price seems high, but compared to other brands (Such as Blue Buffalo) it's reasonable. There is no red meat or grain. The main ingredients are chicken, peas, and chickpeas, which are all very good ingredients that upon research, are well suited to a canine diet.Dog Food Advisor has a good website with a lot of information, so check it out. Don't necessarily trust vets. They recommended Royal Canin, which is made from pretty junky ingredients (a lot of corn) and is made by Mars corporation. Other brands which appear to have good quality include Merrick and Blue Buffalo.I'm quite happy, and my dog loves the new food! A lot better than the old brand!

Our dog has eaten for 8 years.
Vet recommend 8 years ago, one recall, but our dog has remained active and healthy overall. She prefers the dry over the wet. All quality food is overpriced but its what we do for our pets.

My 13+ yr old had check up and blood work. Vet hasn’t seen a dog of his age this healthy in years!
I love the way my dog loves his food. And the best part is…It’s good for him!

Lifesaver!
My 10 year Maltese was near death due to an out of control yeast infection that her breed is prone to. She lost her beautiful coat, pulled all the hair out of her tail, legs and paws and her ears and eyes were secreting a yeasty, goopy awful mess. This food along with other measures has changed her quality of life with just one four pound bag over a months time! I was feeding her an organic highly rated food that was actually making her seriously ill because of tapioca and potatoes in the ingredients. This is enthusiastically given five stars by dog food adviser. I will continue to feed her this as she has certainly turned the corner but not out of the woods yet. Great food!!!

My doggie says YUM YUM!!
My little girl Cricket has lots of ear infections and skin allergies. I have been searching for a grain free dog food with lots of good taste so she would eat it. We have tried others but she was very very uninterested in them. However, as soon as I opened the bag of Nutrisca she WENT AFTER IT!! She loves it and so do I because I know that she will now have something good for her that she will like to eat. I highly recommend this product to anybody. It has none of the bad stuff in it and only great ingredients for a healthy happy pooch.

Their deceptive "Made in America" labeling cost them a new customer
I was so happy to find a potato-free dog food and the reviews have been nothing but glowing. I bought a small bag to see how my dog responded and she loved it! I even used the kibble as treats for several days. However, upon further research I learned that their "Made in America" label (a huge deciding factor in my purchasing dog products), is a bit distorted. When I read " Made in America," I assume a certain level of quality. I've read too many articles about dogs eating treats made in China and dying (e.g., chicken jerky treats a few years back). While the dog food might be physically put together here, the products in the food are NOT FROM AMERICA. Specifically, their chicken comes from China! If I wanted Chinese products in my dog food, I wouldn't be looking for "Made in America" labels! Convinced it was a rumor, I went to the Nutrisca website for information--and there it was--their entire explanation of why they use Chinese-sourced chicken in their dog food. They cited lower cost for their decision, but they lost a potentially life-long customer for their corner-cutting. My dog's health is too important to risk for some company's penny-pinching. Lose the "Made in America" label, Nutrisca; it's flat-out misleading.
