After reading some of the reviews I was a little worried about this film, but I also noted reviews talking about removing the protection layer, which I was aware of as have used a similar product. Loving the pattern though, I ordered.I wanted to upcycle some bookcases with glass doors that once house lovely neat rows of DVDs and Books but now are home to Games, Box sets and other items that I didn't like on show as it looks too busy.Once you have taken the outer packaging off and the instructions, you will see an arrow tab on one side. Pulling on this will start removing the protective film. Clean and then spray the glass to be covered with water and gently start placing where you want it. I found it easier to cut the film to size, allowing a few millimeters wiggle room, before attempting to get the film into place. Most people will gradually remove the protective film as they go but I found this fiddly and so just removed it all once I had the first couple of edges lined up. The water helps the film adhere to the glass but it can be easily removed if needed. Once it was fitted I used a craft knife to remove any excess film. It is quite tough to cut so use sharp scissors or blades.We are happy with the result and it hides all the chaos behind. The glass doors did have etching on them but this does not show once on the bookcases as there is no light behind them. Now I'm just looking around for something else to cover.I would definitely recommend this.
