Works as expected
I had a palm tree with three dead fronds that needed removal. I had zero experience removing elevated tree branches, but I decided to give it a shot to avoid the expense of professional services. This tool felt sturdy and the telescopic pole has a solid locking mechanism keeping the pole at the desired length. It took me just a few minutes to remove the fronds. Had I chosen professional services, I would have spent more time finding and scheduling service than doing it myself.

Great Trimmer
I have tried several extendable tree trimming saws. This Green Mount is the best of all of them by far. It is so simple to get the saw extended (excellent design) and it is light weight. I am 77 years old and far from being a powerful person but I found this to be simply easy to maneuver and cut with. I use it to trim palm tree fronds that are at about a 20 plus height. Extending the saw and then reducing it for storage takes less than a minute out and back.

Lackluster Support
I've used the saw twice now and it has been fine. I did have some issues setting it up however. The setup video could be more detailed. I emailed their support twice and got no response back. Here are the issues I had setting it up:1. The black tabs that are used to connect the saw to the pole were stuck in the closed position. The guy in the video opened with very little effort, but I could not get mine open with just my hands. I ended up using a screwdriver as a wedge to pry them open.2. The smallest section of the pole was stuck and would not extend. This is part of the pole that the saw connects to. The video already had this section of pole extended. I had to extend the rest of the pole out completely to get the small section out.

Tree Branch Trimmer
Does the job well. WE had to trim our avocado tree and it was most helpful.

Updated~
It seems lightweight and feels like it's well made. We are about to try it out also branches. We have 12 trees that I planted at this house and two ash trees that were here before. So we have branches that need to be trimmed. We were unaware of pole saws until I hired someone to take the top off of a 40' poplar tree. Before cutting it down to size, they used a pole saw to take off all the branches. We knew this is the tool that we need! This seems like a good design, and the only problem so far is that the smallest section that the saw fits on was stuck inside the second section. It took me about an hour using a Dremel to make the plastic walking section smoother so that the aluminum Pole would slide over it, and then had to push it centimeter by centimeter out, using a Phillips screwdriver through the hole where the locks go. So now I think we're ready. I will update after trying it out.

Cuts palm fronds extremely well
I have an 8 foot ladder I was cutting the palm fronds with a Japanese style saw. This pole saw is much faster and easier than using the ladder. The palm trees are growing to the point the ladder is too short. I wish I would have purchased this pole saw when I first moved into the house. The first time using the pole saw I cut about 8 palm fronds, I will update this review if there are any problems.

Doesn’t lock properly
Work for light applications HOWEVER the top locking mechanism does not stay locked which is 1 a security issue and 2 a huge frustration when using this tool and already having the proper length only to be extended and 3 increasing the probability of it hyperextending and eventually coming undone and breaking this tool. When fully extended this thing flops all over the place making cuts really difficult. Update: 2023. After using zip ties to try and clamp things together, I attempted to cut a branch about 1 inch in diameter and the blade detached and is now stuck in the tree.

Great bang for your buck
I’ve never used a pole saw before in my life. The neighbors weeping cherry tree’s limbs were hanging heavy on my cable and phone lines coming in from the pole. Easily handled some pretty big branches! Easy to use and assemble. Very happy with my purchase.
