Interesting Story
For Ren, living in 1996, things are not going the best. On his way to seek a longtime pen pal, who was his only source of comfort, he's suddenly whisked away to the future in the year 2122!There he learns he's one of many other teens who've been selected by a high tech company as part of a program for kids of the future to learn about the past. He's paired with Mars, a boy super eager to learn about the 1990s from Ren. For Ren however he struggles to accept his new environment and coming to terms with the project agreements. If he participates, after a few weeks living in the future he and the others will get to return back to their original time. They'll have no memory of the future and will continue living their regular life.No harm or fowl, right?Or is there? The longer Ren learns about the future and the closer he gets to Mars, he's starting to doubt things are as they seem.I enjoyed reading this, the story was interesting and I loved all the main characters. There was never any judgment or questioning of people's preferences or appearances in the comic which was really nice. And the romance that was there didn't feel forced or excessive. The romance was cute to see and the drawings are unique.I'm glad I bought this book, it was a quick and easy read. If there's a continuation I'll definitely read it.

Fun Characters With A Clever And Rich Story!
This graphic novel was everything I love all-in-one. We have Ren who is struggling in his everyday life and is suddenly plucked from it and thrown in to the far future where he has to adapt to so many new and different things around him.The characters are all so wonderful; I found myself laughing at Phoebe's antics and expressions- she's an amazing friend that you definitely want on your team! And Mars is so adorable and enthusiastic, he was a real breath of fresh air for Ren in a way too confusing world/situation.I think the plot is really strong. I believe this could have been expanded on to make more than one book but for only being the one it did a good job of bringing everything full circle. When you're dealing with something like Time Travel and future tech it can be difficult to write a story that is easy enough for readers to follow but also not so simplified that it feels "unrealistic" in a way. I think everything was explained well and the pacing was done properly to fit so much in.I really loved this one; its just a shame I'll have to wait so long to own it physically in my hands! But im definitely preordering and recommending this to anyone curious about it! If you like time travel, futuristic tales, an MC whos coming out of their shell when faced with a difficult time, and side characters/additional characters you'll easily love then this is definitely the graphic novel for you!

Story hooked me completely
I saw this on Instagram and ordered it 10 minutes later. When it arrived today I sat and read the whole thing! The story was waaay more twisty turney than I was expecting. I really didn't know how the author was going to give everyone a happy ending! The illustrations were crisp and helped move the story along, and I really liked the little extra anime style panels when someone was having a Big Feeling or overreacting. I'm so glad I bought this book, it was the perfect companion for a rainy Saturday.

Project Nought Review
This was so good! Such a cool concept: time travel exchange project? Like, what an idea. Ren is taken right out of 1996 and is dropped head-first over 100 years into the future to participate in a time-travel exchange program. Mars, an excitable college student eager to meet his first subject, showers Ren with questions and is eager to learn everything he can about the 1990's straight from the source of someone who lived it. The two boys are total polar opposites, but they find some common ground through video games and by gorging on sweets. But just when the program starts to seem fun to Ren, weird things begin to happen. Following this trail of mysteries leads Ren and his friends to some not-so great secrets about the exchange program and the goings on of Chro-tech. They have to work together to survive and bring Chro-tech down! This story was full of mystery, action, lovable characters (Mars owns my whole heart), found-family, and even a little dash of romance. Project Nought was a total page turner from start to finish and I loved every second of reading it, highly recommend!

Fun gay sci-fi romp with a few plot holes.
This was a nicely drawn comic book about time travel with several LGBTQ characters. There were a few plot holes which lowered my rating by one star. Not bad apart from that.
